I am going to stay anonymous for my security’s sake. Scamshunter.com posted a bogus review on my client and is now trying to get us to pay thousands of dollars for getting it removed. This is borderline blackmailing and when my client told me about this, I asked a couple of my friends about the authenticity of this website. And it turns out that the whole website is based on writing fake reviews on Brokers and then extorting the firm for getting the post removed.
They have posted dozens of reviews on different Brokers and it turns out, not one of the reviews are real.
Scamshunter.com is a total SHAM and it should be avoided at all costs. It’s possibly a Russian website run by criminals for easy money. My research guy sent me a screenshot of the website’s registration details. The owner of the website has hidden all the information about him/herself so there’s no proof of this website’s authenticity.
I suspect that they get their articles written by some writer in Vietnam or Kenya for cheap rates and then extort people for money. The website’s domain appears to be registered on 23rd May 2019 and it will expire on 23rd May 2020. We can say this website’s only purpose is to demolish the reputation of established brokers and then run away with the extortion money. It makes me sad when I see such scammers on the internet but it is what it is.
They have a history of harassing Brokers for money. My client panicked when I went to the website and decided to pay them off. Scamshunter.com receives money in Bitcoin as it is untraceable and cannot be charged back. My client paid a hefty sum of $5,000 which I think he probably shouldn’t have as these scammers run away with the money. And my fear came true when the review wasn’t removed and they stopped responding to the emails.
This website is a waste of time and I will advise all of you to stay away from it. There is no possible way to verify the authenticity of the reviews and I guarantee that they are all fake. Please share this with anyone who you think needs to know the truth about Scamshunter.com. No one should fall victim to their elaborate scheme. Spread the word, save people from this scam. A single share from you might save your friend thousands of bucks.
