Objectively and briefly. I will just say that my Sharp Aquos 60 Inch LC-60le644u cost me near $1000. I paid it upfront all in full. It worked from December 2014 through January 2015. It stopped responding to the remote control and the frame panel controls. I could not change channels, volume etc… It just goes automatically on once I plug it to the wall, but it’s a useless blue screen. I called customer service four to five times. First time, a very kind and patient gentleman walked me though an attempt for a reboot. It didn’t work. Second time a very kind and patient gentleman tried the same attempt. I requested a service team to come out and do it because it didn’t work the first time. I was contacted by a service team that said they need to change a mother board. They said they need approval from sharp. Third time they said they will send out team. This time it was apleasant manager with an American accent. However, he said that on March 18, max, I will be contacted by the maintenance team for an appointment. Now, it is March 27th. Nothing happened. Fourth time they asked me to explain what is wrong with my TV because my case shows nothing on record. But they said the management team are not on duty and he can’t help me. He asked me to call on Monday. I will call on Monday. I have probably called them a couple more times, but I lost track. Hours of my life have gone on calls. And months without an entertainment system for which I foolishly paid in full. It will be April soon and my tv had gone into a coma when it was only 2 months young. I stare at my blue screen and it makes me feel dizzy. I can’t turn it off unless I unplug it. If I plug it back in, it turns back on automatically. But I have wasted $1000. I should have used intallment payments so I would have had the ability to freeze payments. But I paid all upfront. I am thinking of hiring an attorney to file a law suit.
