Dear Sir, My mother, Mdm Wong Kum Mui (IC No : S1045338/J) had visited SGH in March 2109 to take her hearing test and was told that the she would be informed on the availability of the hearing aid. Almost half a year had passed since March 2019, there was no update at all on the status of the hearing aid for my mother. I had called SGH 2 weeks ago and the customer service officer had made an appointment for my mother to see the doctor at Clinic A on 14 October 2019 4.30 pm. While I appreciate the arrangement, my mother has to wait for another one and a half month. Since she has taken the hearing test in March 2019, what is the reason that there is no hearing aid arranged for her and she has to wait for nearly half a year with no news about her hearing aid ? I will appreciate it if SGH can give priority to my mother for an appointment earliest possible instead of waiting till 14 October. My mother is already 83 years old.
