In June of 2013 I leased a new vehicle which came with 3 months of SiriusXM radio/navigation usage. During my trail period I received several offers to continue my satellite services. Prior to my September 24th experation I received an offer: Monthly – $16.30 per month 6-months (3 months free) $33.68 1-year (5 months free) $106.88 2-years (7months free) $223.20 On August 18, 2013 I chose to takeadvantage of their offer and signed up on the 2 year plan with 7 months free since it would take me close to the end of my lease in 2016, was the most economical, and I don’t like auto deductions from my checking account. I recently got a bill for a 1 year contract due on receipt of $231.39 (More than what I paid for 2 years). Of course, shocked because I feared from all the rumors of Sirius scamming consumers that it also happened to me. Not only is Sirius not honoring the 2 year agreement they are not honoring the free months. I summary they have stolen 1 year and 7 months worth of payments from me. I called them 2 times and no one would correct the mistake even though I have proof with confirmation number for the 2 year contract. Both service reps just kept pushing to sell me more for hundreds more dollars for a service already paid for. To top it off, I am a cancer patient and have nearly 100K in medical bills and this compan has the complete audacity to defraud consumers over and over again. I have no doubt their are others in my situation perhaps even worse. Signed, Ripped-off by Sirius XM .
