I’ve always enjoyed using skyscanner over the few years since Gareth Williams set up this online platform, a fellow native of Edinburgh with a fantastic entrepreneurial work ethic I’m sure wouldn’t want companies such as this one to be part of Skyscanner search engine (the only reason I found Green Motion Car Rentals is through skyscanner advertising them). I was completely fleeced by Green Motion Car Rentals when returning a vehicle, they claimed that there were damages I caused which are questionable. This is a grey area ofcourse but looking at all the reviews from other disgruntled customers it’s all too similar. Too good to be true knocked down prices to take premium vehicles and then charged high prices for damages that are questionable on the return. They were keen to get quickly rid of me when I picked the vehicle up as I insisted that they stay with me whilst I checked over the vehicle pointing out scratches which they said ‘these are superficial and you wouldn’t be charged for those anyway’, they kept fobbing me off from checking the vehicle repeatedly saying (it was 8pm in the evening with windy and rainy weather conditions), ‘don’t worry, you’ve got until 10am tomorrow to report anything you see on the vehicle’ (I didn’t have time the following morning due to work commitments), they weren’t supportive of me wanting to check there and then whilst collecting the car making me feel uncomfortable for holding them back. Since reading their reviews and a report in the Guardian newspaper, these other victims experienced the same sharp practise tactics as the cowboys carried out on myself. It makes me so sad that they rip many tourists off visiting the UK and it doesn’t help when they are reached easily by search engines such as Skyscanner. Please look into this business and their work ethics, even rent one yourselves and see how you get on. I’m going to contact the TV show rip off Britain to highlight the poor practise of these cowboys in the next few months. I don’t want to name Skyscanner but should this not be addressed and a response to me, I will take this further as I’m passionate about looking after visitors coming to our country and don’t want to be known as rip off Britain to these victims. It seems to be a family who live between Edinburgh and Leceister who are all involved in Green Motion Business as I spoke to one of the owners when initially renting the vehicle. 13 Nov 2017 booked flight tickets from London to USA return for 02 Dec 2017 by Delta Airlines and Virgin Airlines. Booking confirmed by Travelup and payment of Pds.1024 taken. Email received confirming the whole trip Booking No.TU1067620 and Airline Delta Reservation No.MPPK7Q with promise to send E-tickets within 48 hours. Very surprised at Travelup’s telephone call today afternoon saying that they can not issue my E-tickets as the airlines are not issuing E-tickets to them because the ticket prices have gone up. I complained vehemently at their misleading confirmations to customers and un-reliability, and lack of committment. They replied that they can return my moneys and promised to have my Credit Card Account credited tonight, which has nit been done yet. You are advertising Travelup for all airline ticket deals. This is misleading for all users who can end up with a messy and losing situation as me.

After many failed attempts to book a flight online, the agent gave me some passwords and username to pay as they were having problems with thier system.After many failed attempts I phoned to tell them to cancel the booking and end the process.I also asked for an e-mail confirmation to verify, which thankfully I recieved, all be it a one liner “cancelled”. Then a day later tickets arrive in my inbox. Now it has been 7.5 weeks waiting for refund, manager does not return e-mails or answer phone, his voice mailbox is full. When phone office customer service is attrocious and no help. Never use get a flight, what a disaster. Visa is on the case now, lets see what happens.

Booked a flight via Skyscanner booking reference PTB183337 via best price travel. Booking was confirmed and received email confirmation. Few hours later received a call from the agency advising booking has been cancelled because my starting point was outside of Australia. Booking ID QII7C4 [location removed] to Adelaide 09/02/2018 Melbourne to Edinburgh 24/02/2018 Mr [removed] and Mrs [name removed] Official Complaint I write regarding the above booking that I paid for and received confirmation for on 07 February 2018 from expedia.co.uk whom your company had recommended, the reason for the late booking was I had been informed my [removed] in [location removed], Australia had passed suddenly and my wife and I wished to pay our respects. My [removed] and [removed] subsequently delayed the funeral, visas were applied for and came through on 07 February 2018. I received a confirmation that my reservation was booked and confirmed from expedia.co.uk. I can provide a copy of same. My wife and I thereafter attended Qatar check in at Edinburgh airport and presented ourselves for travel only to be told our tickets for travel had been cancelled and they could offer no explanation as to why. The Qatar customer adviser that told us the gate would be closing in 20 minutes and there was no way we would be travelling on the plane to Doha en route to Adelaide. I then called expedia.co.uk customer service department but could not get through, however my wife did and I then explained the situation, the gate at that time would be closing in 10 minutes. I would add that should we have got on the next available flight we would arrive in [location removed] after the funeral. At this stage my wife and I were distraught not only were we travelling in very strained circumstances we were now under extreme pressure and duress to get on the flight and this reduced my wife to tears. Expedia eventually reinstated our tickets and to date despite numerous telephone calls and emails have offered no explanation as to why they had been cancelled in the first place and to this date we are still waiting hence my complaint to you. Qatar staff were excellent and rushed us through security and we were the last ones to board the plane with no minutes to spare. I also noted on my booking that I can provide that there was information of my wife and I being confirmed on a flight to Seattle in January 2019? I again have asked why with no response. In Doha we did not know if our connecting flight was ok and also were unsure whether our return flights would be honoured. The whole experience caused us undue stress and could have easily resulted in medical complications, however thankfully nothing was forthcoming. I booked the flight with expedia.co.uk on the recommendation from Skyscanner. I have advised exppedia.co.uk that I will contact Skyscanner but prior to doing so I had allowed them the opportunity to explain themselves and they have chosen not to despite assurances it was being dealt with. I would add that I also completed a survey online to expedia.co.uk on 27/02/2018 but have again received no response. I think that you should be aware of the issues with expedia.co.uk as I see it they are representing you as a company I look forward to hearing from you hopefully with an explanation from expedia.co.uk. I did not ask for insurance, but there was an extra fee that was not clear on your website going through via.id. And then when I checked with Citilink ‘s own website the exact same tickets would have cost me only 7, 454, 000 IDR. So that means I have paid more than a million more using your website. Date of incident: 6 Nov 2019 Flight: Cathay Pacific Flight depart Date: 13 Nov 2019, 10 am I have make a booking through Skyscanner for the trip KL-Tokyo on Cathay Pacific throuhg one of your partner-Via.com on 1 Nov 2019, 9:46am(transaction go through), itinery has received long after hour. I have a lot of problem in communicating with the travel agent, so we go through with email. Thereafter I noticed the surname and given name sequence is worng. I request for name amendment, and it take fews days to complete and i was in worry because it is about one week to go. Since I was in worry, so I keep checking with Cathay on my ticket booking name. Yesterday night 5 Nov 2019, I realised the sequence of the name has changed to the correct name. Today 6 Nov 2019, Since I was in deep worry and disspointed with this travel agent, I call Cathay and double confirm with my name correct in the ticket. According to Cathay, the name has correctly amended in the Cathay system and the new ticket has issues. And according to Cathay the name changes in sequences is FREE OF CHARGE. So i thaught everything has been done and I can ready to enjoy my holiday as I was in deep worry for few days on this matter. This morning 6 Nov 2019, I receieved the email from this travel agent- Via.com again, they request for RM150/person for the name amendment, and required me to advise them for proceed the change and make the payment. I have total of 6 persons, which is consist of RM900 for name amendment. According to them, this is the fees charges by the Cathay airlines to them, so the same they charge to me. And there treathen me that the seat and fares and subject to availability and request for fast confirm and payment. And feel very uncomfortable and dissatisfied with this travel agent dishonest in acting this. I trust Skyscanner in your filtering process of picking realiable travel agent to offer the reliable ticket. BUT, this really make me truly dissapointed on Skyscanner partner. My flight will be on next Wed, I have checked with Cathay for many times, it wasted many of my time to double check with Cathay on the changes. And now, the travel agents is not doing anything and just charge me so expensive. This is the WORST and highest amendment fees so far I encounter, somemore the airlines has confirm is free of charge. Date: 30/08/2017 Time: around 22-2330 Hong Kong time I put in the search engine of two flights: London Stansted to Barcelona and Lisbon back to London Stansted. The cheapest option appears as Ryanair (direct flight) and Eurowings (flight with one stop) and I have double checked it. Yet after I paid and refreshed the page, it appeared as both Ryanair company and the difference is about 500 Hong Kong dollar with both DIRECT FLIGHTS. It is a waste of time and a disappointing experience when a company can make such a critical mistake. I am quite sured that I have been spending some time trying to find an easier option for myself for a direct and shorter flight.

Dear all As an trusted customer I have booked a car from your site to Easyrent car For 3 days and as usal I should find someone from the co to pick me Unfortunately thats was the issue I didn’t find any one waiting I tryed to call them on the number in the invoice but the problem that the answer machine is speaking turkey only and I tried to find someone to speake to them finaly after searching I found him and he speake to them and they inform him that they canceled the booking because I was late for 2 hours and this is there policy’s and I told them I already payed this is not acceptable and they reply this our policy and u can came collect your payment from main office and we could not provide a car for you, And I rent an other car from other company after I have been delayed for more than 3 hours The next day I went to easyrent car office in Istanbul the customer service in charge there call Dany Inform me that they didn’t recive any payment as this reservation was maid by website and they paying to them after 30 days and he confirmed to me that his company canceled the reservation from there side and they will not charge me anything and I have to return to the system and they will refund the payment for me. Dear sir/madam Yesterday (14th of may) I booked a flight from dubai to sarajevo for the 30th of june. my payment was taken immediately for aed3645. Around 4 hours later I received a phone call informing me that the flight I had chosen was sold out. they then changed the story to be the price of the flight was different and there would be an extra charge. When I asked what the extra charge was they informed me it would be an additional charge of aed 3000 dirhams!!! that is not an additional charge that is double the advertised price. When I asked them what would happen if I cancelled my flight they said I had until 8am the following morning to cancel. if I hadn’t then I wouldn’t receive a refund for upto 30 working days. (please bare in my mind this phonecall came at 9pm) The fact that I had such a tight time limit to cancel my flight in after it was not even the flight advertised at all was ridiculous.. later they mentioned that I could change the time of my flight and the extra charge would be only 1800 dirhams, which is still alot of extra money. After checking your website and fly dubais webite. fly dubai is clearly stating the correct price, as this is what dnata now want to charge me. If I had believed I would have been refunded immediately I would have cancelled but unfortunately after speaking with my boyfriend who had a similar situation after booking via skyscanner I decided this was unlikely. fyi he was only ever refunded 20% of his ticket price. I decided to go ahead with the aed1800 excess charge. however I am very unhappy with your website. it seems that you are not monitoring prices at all. dnatas lack of update was clearly a ploy to have people book through them rather than fly dubai directly even though its the exact same price.. and its not just dnata there was 5+ other agencies offering cheaper deals. This whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I would be reluctant to use sky scanner again. Between myself and my partner we have now both experienced problems using the site. this has never happened to me before after years of using this website.. until now. Dear Sirs I would like to complain for the malpractice of Your supplier www.myholidays.ae from whom I bought yesterday a flight ticket the cost of which all the way to the payment page, appeared in AED. Without any notification or information provided on the payment page and as there was an option to choose the currency for the payment of the ticket, I chose naturally AED since I would use a local card for the payment, only to find out after I concluded the payment that they charged me in USD instead, regardless of the fact that a. The cost of thicket appeared only in AED, b. I had chosen AED as the transaction currency in the option offered over the payment process. They sent me an email stating the cost of the ticket in USD for which I complained to them directly since this means that there are extra charges incurring from my local bank for the currency conversion, which again I was never informed about! This is a serious malpractice and you cannot allow them to mislead customers in such way!

Dear skyscanner, Hope this email find you well. I would like to raise a formal complaint against gotogate. I was browsing on your site looking for better agency where I can book our ticket for our trip to bangkok, where we plan to celebrate my child’s birthday when I saw gotogate. Their site looked good with a reasonable rate so I booked our flight with them. I carefully place our information on the website to avoid problems but to my surprise, when gotogate transferred our information to the airlines, my daughter’s 2nd name was omitted. When I found out about it I sent them an email to rectify the mistake but they dont seem to be cooperating and we are just going around circles without any resolution. I’ve been dealing with them for weeks now and as day passed they are becoming more and more frustrating. I went to our airlines and they confirmed that only gotogate can correct my daughter’s name and advised me to asked them to coordinate with gds helpdesk. The agent I spoke with denied that and only said that he will just give authorization to the airlines to add in the 2nd name which the airlines opposed since its not their usual procedure. He seemed to be avoiding gds helpdesk. We are just a month away from our trip and I don’t know how can we resolve this matter. This is causing so much frustration for us. Good Day Never fly Swiss Air or Work with Expedia.com.I enjoyed a great vacation to morocco only to end it completely stressed out. I booked my flights via Expedia, an online travel agent via the Sky Scanner website. My return flights were Marrakesh – Geneva – Zurich – Beijing. As I was going to be in transit and had no intention to leave the transit area, I saw no problem. On arriving at the airport to depart, I was told I could not take this flight. The explanation was that there is a rule stating that one cannot transit in two Schengen areas for more than 24 hours. I was less than 24 hours but it was on two different days. This was unknown to me and there was nothing told to me via Expedia or Swiss air. I had been in contact directly to Swiss air with regards to other aspects of my flight, so there should have noticed this before. The staff at the airport gave me this reason and said they can’t help and were quiet rude about it. Directly telling me its my own issue and walked away. I asked for help at the Swiss air office to call the customer care and they refused to allow me to do so, again saying it’s my own issue as I did not buy it from them directly. As I see it, they set the route and times of the flight and have an obligation towards customers even if I did not buy it directly from them. On contacting Espedia, the agent said they can’t assist as they get the tickets directly from Swiss air and they set the routes. At the end of that day, I was forced to buy a new ticket from Swiss air at 700 USD. Both Airline and travel agent denied accountability for not having any disclaimers and say I need to know my travel laws. To me, this is an easy way to get out. The next day, after spending close to 100 USD on calls and sleeping on a friends couch, I went back to depart. I was the first to arrive and first in line but the last to board. Once again the rude Swiss staff had issues about my flight. This time I bought the ticket directly from them and only had 2 hour stop in Munich. They had no idea if I could take that flight now and made me wait 2 hours. What was worse was that management was called down to help me but never did. The lady issuing tickets had to go up after half an hour of waiting to state my case. After another 45 minutes of no one telling me anything, I decided to go up and speak to management who brushed me of stating I should have patience. At 12.28, 2 minutes before boarding can close, they said: ok go in. This was without even an apology. On the flight they mixed my meals and all together was the worst flight and experience ever. Swiss air, besides being incompetent in knowing their laws and getting meals right were the rudest bunch of staff I came across. Its easy for big airline companies to push customers as they see fit, especially when you are desperate.

Good morning, Today i was surprised when trying to book a flight that the top cheapest ones will constantly direct me to a website (travelfrom.es) that made me introduce my personal data only to tell me later that there was no abailability for that selected flight and suggested others that were dearer and made ridiculous scales. This has slowed down the process of booking increadibly, not to mention that i have introduced my personal details for nothing. I have had a very good experience with skyscanner in the past and my family and i are frequent travelers. Hello I booked a return flight with Virgin Atlantic last week and Skyscanner automatically filled the name of the passenger incorrectly. I have since been on the phone to Virgin Atlantic several times and I have been informed that I am unable to change the same and they will not give me any compensation at all. I have since had to cancel the flight and I am at a HUGE loss in my account. I am really really dissatisfied with this service and I cannot contemplate how this has happened. Hello, My husband and I booked a flights from Llastminute.com and because we are flying with our cat i tried to contact them to make a reservation for the cat i spoke with a woman who wasn’t speaking English and she ask me to find somebody who speaks Spanish. Hi Complaint Board. I really love to use Skyscanner website on my searches and flight purchases. The most recent business trip has been bought on Skyscanner, and I travelled on 11th Oct to Munich. It was a same-day round-trip flight from London – city where I live. After a quick research, I was redirected to a website called OPODO where I could proceed and complete my booking. The issues had started since the very beginning when they spent days to confirm my flight. I was instructed to get in touch directly with the companies to confirm the purchase and also the trip. These things are supposed to be sorted by the company you have purchased the products from, not by its customers. After coming back home, I requested a copy of the invoice with my employer details for reimbursement purposes. Unfortunately, this OPODO has been ignoring my request as well as disrespecting the consumer’s right. They simply hung up the phone on me more than once and they refuse to provide me with the requested invoice. This is not just a case of delay. It’s a case of disrespect. The website doesn’t work well, and the customers need to do the job that the facilitator supposed have provided. So, I decided to get in touch with you to complaining also against Skyscanner once they have directed me to this ‘third class’ OPODO website in the first place. I would be grateful if you guys could exclude OPODO website, form the pool of the companies that appear on the research on Skyscanner to prevent other people from being harmed and cheated by them. Hi For a emergency I booked a ticket through flighnetwork in Skyscanner.i got the confirmation email that my tickets are booked, however after 3 hrs they send the mail that it’s cancelled and also they tried to reach me 1. Hi would like you to be aware of budge air which comes up on yr price comparison sites. This company should not b where. I tird to book tickets with them during payment process was advised problem with payment I then ‘re tried payment and without any security checks it flashed up payment accepted. I checked with company the next day and received an e mail advising no booking had been made and I should ‘re book. I did it not with budget air. That was the start of my trauma 5 days later budget air took money for my account. When trying to cancel and review money back they did advise cancellation fee which I wasn’t happy about it advised to cancel anyway. From then on they chose to ignore my e mails. I have now resolved this matter with my bank budget air still have not refunded money. I know this is not your fault but thought you should know how this company operate. I choose the days, where it says price starts from 162 danish kroner. Hi, I have booked today a return trip for which the price on the website was 212.95EUR. After filling all the information required, including my bank account details, I paid, with the amount shown being 212.95EUR at that moment. Right after this, I received an email that my booking was confirmed and the amount paid was 256.87EUR, which was split into two parts: a. Fees for cancellation insurance of 29EUR b. Ticket price of 227.87EUR In a nutshell, I have been overcharged and an unauthorized transaction has taken place, with eDreams being responsible for this. I wasn’t aware of eDreams track record, but it looks like this is a common “practice” of the company, overcharging people in multiple ways. I would appreciate your view on this. Hi, I have taken a ticket but there is a difference in orignal and final value. It was 778 AED BUT I got it at 814 AED. why it happens. Well at the time of booking it shows 745, then finally after luggage and all it went on 778. At the end when I pay the deduction is 814, which is intolerable. Hi, I used skyscanner to search for flights iad-lhr return and many came up with $486 for many dates into the future. I successfully purchased one ticket for $486 departing a couple of weeks in the future. I immediately went to purchase some more iad-lhr tickets many months ahead (Which were shown as $486 too before purchasing the first ticket) and they had jumped up to over $1000. Is there an algorithm that is at work doing price-gouging or how can you explain this? Hi, In March I booked a flight from LBJ to DPS. The flight was booked for 16:10 on the 30th July (i have the booking confirmation if you need it). We arrived at the airport on the 30th to find that the flight never existed and instead we had to board a different flight at 18:35. This caused lots of problems as we had a car waiting for us in Denpasar which we couldn’t contact easily. In order to contact them i had to turn my data on which cost a lot of money. At first I thought the plane times must have just changed and i didn’t receive an email but that wasn’t the case. The flight simply never existed. I’m not happy about this experience at all.

HUTCHGO HK has really really really terrible customer service and crappy reputation. I should have known better than booking a flight with them. I should have gone to China Eastern website directly instead of through Skyscanner, and through Hutchgo. Seriously, Skyscanner, why do you still keep this scam company? I have been requesting ticket cancellation for 9 days already and they are still not cancelling my ticket. When they detailed their steps, they will charge me for the ticket cancellation (even if China Eastern already mentioned that all the fees are waived due to the special travel advisory of Wuhan virus). I will understand the minimal fees but really, 3-6 months to return MY MONEY? That’s insane. What’s Skyscanner doing about this scam company? Why are you still including them in your flight options? Are you in this scam, too, Skyscanner? What are you doing to protect your frequent customers from this kind of issue? The cancellation wasn’t even our choice, to begin with. This was only due to the Wuhan virus. Could you please help out on this incident? I terribly need the money for this. Emergency. I can’t wait for 3-6 months. It’s my money. Why would they hold that for that long?

I am travelling 16 October to 20th October from Edinburgh to malaga, for this I did choose skyscanner to book flights, skyscanner gave me 2 different airlines for 2 journeys from Edinburgh to malaga and malaga to Edinburgh and I booked my tickets via jet2 and ryanair respectively. I saw my emails to check in and noticed that I am coming back from Malaga same day as I am leaving from Edinburgh which is 16th October. I am pretty sure that I put the correct dates in your search engine and because of this all, my tour is totally messed up, and I called to ryan air to sort out the this issue and it is costing me fortune to even change the flight. I booked a flight for my wedding to Durban with skyscanner and found myticket.ae . They charged us 7500 dirham on the 27th February. Today they took out a further 3750 dirham. I no longer have enough money to pay for scheduled outgoing bills and therefore I am going to incur charges for bounced bills. My bank is also holding onto 7500 dirham. They dont have a dedicated customer service number for the UAE as it doesnt work. They dont respond to emails and I NEES THIS MONEY TO PAY FOR MY BILLS THIS MONTH! I am outraged. Please can you help. I booked a flight from Cario to Melbourne for the 13/08/2018. I booked through Skyscanner with tripair. Flight number:QF 8924 ticket number: [protected] The ticket i booked was a total of 477.30 EUR ($774.19 AUD). However there was an error and mistake on behalf of tripair. After contacting them many times, having rude customer service i finally got through to them. They agreed to give me a refund of the amount. However they did not refund me the full amount. We agreed that tripair would take 30 EURO as a cancellation fee. They refunded me 404.85 EUR ($654.74 AUD). This is incorrect as there is 43 EUR ( $70.00) missing. We contacted them many times but they have told us this is correct when it clearly is not. If you have a look at the attached documents you will see there is a change in the cost of the value of the ticket is 25 EURO more and additional tax added on (7.58 EURO). They changed me more on my first ticket but when coming to get a refund the ticket price is changed to a lower amount so i get less refund back. This is unfair and i will be taking this further to consumer affairs if not resolved my skyscanner. tripair refuses to deal with this issue and are scamming me. Skyscanner is liable to this as i booked via your company.

I booked a flight from LAX to Atlanta on Australian search engine . I chose a price which was in AUD. When I clicked and proceeded to booking page, I chose the Spirit Airlines. I went over Skyscanner site and Spirit Airlines site to ensure I understood the prices . There was nowhere to indicate that my purchase was going to be in another currency . I then proceeded with the booking . I am so upset that my flight on the AUD SKYSCANNER SITE which I chose at $334 AUD from memory has now cost me $606???? I did get a seat and luggage deal which was $90(which I believed was same currency as flight) According to information available on your site the total amount for the flight and seats/luggage was$424 . As mentioned I was charged $606 . A very big difference ! I would like a refund for the extra that I was charged . I booked a flight through Skyscanner and then chose one of their suppliers/online travel agents Flyfar/FlightNetwork to book the flights online. In one of the boxes I have accidentally put my name in “Dom” instead of my wife’s name “Linda”. The e-ticket was sent to me with the name Dom Muriel Valastro and I have contacted them to correct the name. They have instructed me to cancel the flight and re-book with the correct name rather than change it at their end. I have sent them a copy of my wife’s passport assuming that by seeing that the passport number on the online form, this would indicate that a mistake had been made. They have referred me to the policy and terms and conditions and determined that changing “Dom Muriel Valastro” to “Linda Muriel Valastro” constitutes a name change not a name correction. The difference in this conclusion is that I need to (1) cancel my flight (2) accept a penalty of $700 (3) re-book the very same flight at now a much higher cost. A name correction would not require that. I have yet to determine if the mistake was at their end or mine so I have asked them to forward me the online form. My complaint is that their conditions, in this case, are grossly unfair as it looks like this oversight will now cost me about $900 and potentially mean that I may not be able to secure the same flight for my wife. I don’t want to cancel the flight and I don’t want a refund, I just ask that reason would prevail and that a simple mistake be corrected. I am preferred to cop a fine but not at $700-900.

I booked a flight to return from Brazil to Ireland using Skyscanner, but I did not know I needed a visa to transit in the NY airport. I have only a connection in New York Airport and then another connection in Paris before I finally fly to Dublin. The American Embassy of United States has just refused my admission in that country and I can not fly to New York. I tried to cancel the flight on customer service but they don’t want to give my money back. The customer service department told me the responsibility is of the Airlines. Then I called the airline and they told me the responsibility is of the travel agency. The point is, you can not take my money and keep it with you. I need to buy another ticket and I need this money for it. I believe that Skyscanner and American Airlines are really rich and they shouldn’t take the money from the customers. It was not my fault. I need you to refund my money cause if you do not do this I am going to call a lawyer and I am going to process and you will have to pay me back much more money then only my tickets. In addition, I am going to call all the newspapers, social media, television, radios, and I am going to start a campaign against Skyscanner and I am going to involve all my friends and followers on social media and make it get bigger telling them not buy tickets for your company anymore. I booked a flight with a skyscanner partner called tripsta. The amount quoted and the amount debited from my card were different by more than 1000zar (South arican rand). I cancelled my booking with in ten minutes, and was told that the discrepancy was bank charges. The amount the bank charges is 2.75 percent, no where near the 1000zar. The amount refunded to me was 1300 zar short of the amount I paid. I cannot get hold of tripsta agent as I keep getting put on hold, have held on the phone for a total of 1hour and 34 minutes today. The balance of my money needs to be refunded to me immediately.
