I recently had the worst encounter with Sons & Daughters Orthodontics. I am never returning to that center due to their pathetic services and awful customer service.
I always had a problem with my dental formula and visited an orthodontic from time to time when I was young. I received the best care, and my teeth alignment changed to become perfect. However, I started experiencing bleeding gums and difficulty in cleaning my teeth. With this assumed, my teeth had we out of line and needed to visit an orthodontics center near me. I was not familiar with the various centers available, and so I decided to look for the best center in Irvine online. I carried out thorough research, and this was when I came across Sons & Daughters Orthodontics. This center was outstanding and had an amazing online presence, so I assumed they would offer me high quality services.
I called the customer support number posted on their website, but to my surprise, there was no one to answer. This did not ring a bell since it was during the lunch hour. I later received a call from the center, acknowledging they had received my call and explaining why they were out of office. This seemed fair to me, so I explained my case and booked an appointment the previous day. I made sure I was at the center 30 minutes before to familiarize myself with their services and operations. This did not work out well.
The receptionist and customer care were not very helpful as all they did was stare at me. I tried to ask them a few questions, but all they could say was, ”wait for your turn.” This was arrogant, but I remained calm. A few minutes before my appointment, the dentist walked out of the building without explaining when he would be back. This was odd, and I didn’t know what to do. After waiting for almost an hour, he came back and did not bother to explain to me what had happened. Instead, he took me to his office and started explaining their terms of service. What surprised me was that I was supposed to pay before the service, but since my gum was hurting, I paid to be served.
Things got worse when the orthopedic started making irrelevant calls when serving me. He did not pay attention to what he was doing, and this is how he ended up hurting my gums. I was very disappointed and in a lot of pain, and all he could do was offer me a pain killer. He tried to justify himself that my dental formula had further complications, and it would take time to treat. He booked me an appointment tomorrow, but I don’t think I will attend. Poor customer service is one thing, but hurting my gums is malpractice despite assuring me they would offer high quality services. Visit Sons & Daughters Orthodontics at your own risk.
