1 – my first order was placed on 16 june 2018 for 3 items (2 shoe racks + 1 shelve) with order id [protected]. Status said it was picked up from the seller on 17 june and would soon be delivered. I waited and waited despite of the status saying arriving today which is 22 june I still waiting since anyhow it intially mentioned delivery will be on the 24 june. And, nothing arrived. At all. 2 – my next order then was made on 19 june for 2 items (shelve+cabinet) order id [protected]. The same, even if the status said it was ready for delivery since 21 june, I waited and nothing delivered. 3 – another order placed on the same day, 19 june, different transaction. I ordered a cabinet along with another item with order id [protected]. Item picked up from seller on the 20 june and yes, I also wait till the 24 june hoping it will be delivered with my other orders. Then came 25 june, 26 june and there was nothing! No delivery at all! I first called qexpress since they are the courier partner of souq. What a bunch of liars! The first excuse they gave was the delivery was schedule but I was unreachable! I immediately knew they are making excuse because the day that they claim is the same day another item from my 3rd order was delivered! And when they got caught, they claim to arrange it asap. Then, I got a call from qexpress on wednesday, 27 june saying they can only deliver all the items – all the items – on friday, 29 june or after which is saturday, 30 june. The dates came from them. The qexpress agents told me they will deliver on that date. And, friday the 29 june came – no delivery! No call! Nothing! I called them at 1pm and the agent told me to wait since it is already dispatched so a delivery person will call me. At 5pm, I called them again and guess what?!?!?! The agent of qexpress, joanne said they cannot deliver anymore as per their delivery team. Reason? Nothing! No reason at all! Imagine those lies! I still called up souq the next day hoping they can do something. The agent told me, they will have the delivery arranged at the earliest! Goodness!!! These people do not talk among themselves! Now, I think it’s about time for me to give up. So souq, make sure that you refund my full payment in cash back to my bank account. Make sure to have it credited to my debit card and not to my souq account because I do not plan to order anything from you! Oh, and I am only one of 5 people from our office scammed by these souq and qexpress!

As I was travelling I left the message in the customer’s notes field asking to deliver all the items on the 8th of August. While I was abroad, there were numerous attempts to deliver the packages. Why souq.com is wasting time of their couriers and stressing me about my package not being delivered to me on an expected date? All I want in the future for souq.com to read their customer’s notes, otherwise why there is such an option if you do not use it? 6 Dec 2015, evening 7.15 i received my iPhone from souq.com after chasing 7 days for delivery. This was my first online purchase in UAE and souq.com made it worst. A month ago I’ve ordered a set of three HP color cartridges for my printer and when I opened the yellow one and installed it I discovered that the item is a very very poor quality as there was a lot of lines across the printed paper . I tried with Souq .com to contact the seller and explain the issue for him and accept the return since these items has a poor quality and impact negatively to their customer and after a ten days of negotiation the issue concluded with no return since the items exceed the agreed return period policy and I fully agreed with them but what I am not agree with is selling and allowing some sellers to sell such items’ quality which defiantly scratch the Souq’s image and reduce/erase the credibility . The value of these items exceeding SR 500 but with the current quality I’ll not buy it even 100 for the three sets I hope Souq will look at this issue because if not I will start sharing this bad experience and the previous one through all the channels of social media

Actually I ordered some items from Souq on 22 may. according to the shipment date it should be delivered by June 1. but before the date I received the items as two shipments. the orders item was too big for me according to my size it was 3 t shirt. After that I called on 31 may to your call center they told after June 1 only we can make return because as per their system it’s not shipped yet. So I called again on 2 June I think then they told within 2 days one of our agent will call you. After being unhappy with the product, I filed a complaint and souq.com sent Aramex to take the dress back from me. After numerous emails, it has been one month now they have not refunded me the money. I called them 3 times and after being on hold for 5 mins, they said that they cannot check as their website is down. This is a lie as I was on their website at that moment. Then they move on to saying that the Aramex website is also down. This is such a convenience, isn’t it. Almost a month ago i ordered fish food (Order number -[protected]) – 3 quantity from souq. Must after the scheduled delivery date, i get a message that the order is rejected because supplier is not able to fulfil the order. Its pathetic that order is accepted and is rejected later on. There should be adequate provision with the sale offer that if its not fulfilled it should be compensated. Its really weird way of sale dealings, where you collect the money upfront, a contract for sale is fulfilled with a product identified. Now it should not be that consumer is always at seller discretion if he will be able to fulfill the order. Its not a bidding process but a direct sale offer. Beyond that, i have been following up for many many days to understand how will my voucher (the voucher of AED 100 i used to make the purchase) would be refunded. There is absolute silence and no response, whatsoever, from Souq. The services have just gone miserable. There is no direct contact number on website where one can reach. And also the email contact given never responds. I wonder its Amazon acquistion impact that services have just deteriorated. Earlier Souq.com never charged delivery fees/ or charged lesser fees (as processing fees), if I was going to pick up my order from your outlets. Item was delivered late & I paid cash upon delivery. When I opened the item it turned out to be fake. Afer my negative review, item was returned. I had 15 days to return the product but I have initiated the process the day I have recever the package. The procedure is that they will send the airways bil then Aramex will pick up the products. Bought a One Plus X mobile phone from Souq.com in Dec 2015. Stopped working after 3 months, screen dead, and phone not coming on. Called Souq as there was a warranty, and they took the phone back, but sat on it for 10 days without any feedback. When I called to check, they said the warranty was voided because the phone had scratches (true, there were 2-3 scratches on the glass), bent (absolutely untrue) and dented (absolutely untrue). After repeated phone calls, I gave up, and asked for the phone to be returned to me. As this brand is new to Dubai, no other shop can repair it, and I am now the proud owner of a 1000 dirham paperweight that looks like a phone. Bought an Item Elgato HD60 Last October 19, 2016. As the only capture card iv’e seen on their shop so i immediately bought it as i needed it on my camera live streaming. As the item has streaming command and the capabilities for live streaming. When i received the item and tried it on my camera i found out that it has a 2-3 seconds video lag/delay. So i made a complaint and ask to return and refund the item. Item was returned back back last October 26, 2016 Until now there is no action at their hands. But i got a lot of email from their customer adviser and keep on telling that the seller won’t accept the refund policy as the item is working properly. It is working properly and no defects but the issue i am getting is the video lag. After a few weeks they keep on saying that they cannot refund the item because it is working properly and they told me that the item is not for video camera streaming as on the item description. But i keep on telling them to check the website of elgato that all the game capture card has common features of stream command that can be work on any cameras for live streaming. I also send an email to elgato website and they told me that return/refund or exchange with same item or latest item that has no video delay. they told me that any seller or store must accept the return/refund. As also read on the souq return policy there is a 15 days return and full refund. So i made a return within 6 days from purchased of the item. But they won’t accept the refund and they keep on insisting that the item has no option for camera streaming. When i return the item i found at they already selling a new item which is Elgato HD 60S which is no video lag/delay on live streaming so i immediately bought the item hoping that i got my refund on the first item. But until now there is no action from them. What should i do? Cases: #1 – I ordered a Dahlia Noir Eau de Parfum, I receive Dahlia Noir Eau de Toilette. They have a 14-day return policy, not to mention the simple fact they charged me for an expensive product and shipped something much cheaper. Despite that, they refused to acknowledge the issue or to accept the return. #2 – I ordered a Galaxy Note 3 phone from them with cash on delivery. On order confirmation they said 5-9 business day delivery (even though on product page it said 2-3 day delivery). I immediately sent an email to cancel and next day called to cancel. Despite verbal acknowledgement, they still sent the product and for another two days pestered me to pickup the package. When I didn’t, they told me I couldn’t order from them anymore. They supposedly have a 3-day free return policy, no questions asked. Overall nobody should order from them and pay upfront online. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had paid for the product in advance.

They called me in the morning when I told them that there is no one at home so they can come anytime after 5pm (the time was already specified on the delivery notes). They called me at 4.45 when I told them that I would be reaching home in 10 minutes, the courier guy just started abusing saying BLOODY STUPID guy and started abusing me. Dear all, Good day.. unfortunalty we are sending such feedback about Souq egypt as there is delay to solve the issues that we face and no follow up also the account manager is always unreachable as they told us (19932) that there is an hassle in managing the accounts and we dont know who is the account manager then said that the account manager will contact us within week! And no show.. so we started to follow with the call center to get a updates but it wasn”t useful as agents give different answers so we submited a complaint on the portal and got email that they will finalize the issues after 48 hrs.. and no feedback till that moment.. So seeking your support to investigate and solve the below mentined issues: 1- #[protected] we sent to the account manager as the box returned empty without the item 2- #[protected] returned before delivery unsealed with fingerprints on the device screen 3- #[protected] & #[protected] both are cancelled items but not from our side and reflected on the account as a cancellation and after checking with 19932 some said from the courier branch and some said its from the customer side and some from our side 4- #[protected] delayed to be delivered to the customer from the courier and broken.. while the delay wasn”t from our side and we got negative feedback reflected on the score [protected] delivered broken to the customer. Dear all, I bought Samsung Tab2 from Souq.com. After 2 months, the unit cannot be charged and I sent the item for repair. Even after 45 days, they do not know the status of item. I complained over phone and email few times. They do not respond to your email. Everytime you call them, they just inform that, you need to call back since they do not have any status from the warranty department. Thier customer service department is also very unfriendly. I can understand their frustration, they might be receiving hundreds of calls from customers similiar to me. I would recommend everyone not to buy any electronic item from Souq.com. It would be better if you spent AED 100 extra, you will get good service from rest of the electronic shops.

Dear All, I would like to put your attention on a very very serious issue. Souq.com is the worst company I have seen in my life. Order ID: #[protected]– Apple iphone 6s 64GB Here is what happened with me. 1- After 8 months of purchase from souq, mobile got off totally and was not turning on. I lost all the connection of my bank accounts, official emails and many more. More over because it was not turning on at all, I was not able to remove password from there and I had to send this as it was. 2- It put a note on a paper that I could not remove password because mobile was not turning on. 3-I tried to remove from icloud account but it was asking for authentication code which was sent to device. How can I take that code when device is not on. 4- I put repair request on 3rd of December, 2016 and after 12 Days it reached to souq service center. So I was without phone for 12 days. 5- 13th day, I received a message from souq.com that item cannot be repaired because it is locked by password. They even did not bother to call me. Moreover on paper it was clearly mentioned that I cant remove password coz it was not turning on. 6- Called help line for many times and that day after 50 minutes, it got connected. and they said you receive this item now, and put a request again . I spoke to them and forced them that I will not receive item without repair.The finally agreed and took icloud user ID and password from me so that they can clear the password. 7- 3 more days passed with no updates and no calls. I was keep waiting for their calls and keep called souq.com help line. Everyone I spoke to was saying, I am making request to proceed. ( Perhaps they made 10 request or may be more) 8- Today After 20 days, I called them again and there was a new story. They said icloud user id and password was wrong. our service center guy tried to call you but you did not attend. What a big lie I can ever imagine from people running such a big business. I was keep waiting for their call and 24 hours I was keeping my mobile with me so that I dont miss their call. 9- Today they raised another rquest as usuall to call me again. But I am sure they will not call me bcoz they want to create trouble for people. What more worst you can expect. Dear Concerned Department, I placed the order on July 12 and paid with my credit card. Order #[protected] Status of my one of my shipments showed ‘Shipment 1 of 3 Arriving This Saturday 14’ Today, July 17 I called to follow up on my order and, at first, call centre agent could not find my order, then informed me that due to some ‘technical’ error order was not processed and i have to re-order all the item again. Why I wasn’t informed about this?! Why no sms, email or phone call was made to inform YOUR REGULAR client if you experienced a technical glitch! This is SOUQ’s problem, not a customer’s issue. Why I had to follow up on my order and find out only because I PHONED myself that SOUQ did not bother even look into my order and inform me regrading the issue and offer me a refund or alternative solution! Very inefficient and unprofessional service
