The owner of this gym is having his family and other co-owners rate the property on Google My Business to enhance its review score. I’ll list them below:

– Belinda Carville
– Jennifer Rosser
– Nell Anitra Scannon
– Julie Carville
– Aurora Carville

If the owners, Mike and Phil Carville, didn’t have their co-investors and family rate their own property 5/5 stars, their score would be in the 3s on Google. Don’t be fooled by shady behavior. Read for yourself. Search online for ”Carvilles revamp Club Sierra into a state-of-the-art South Yuba Club” You’ll see that local newspapers are quoting these individuals as owners in the property.

Also, check the Glassdoor.com reviews from actual employees. They all say the owners are hot-garbage and the place is a poor employer with lackluster management that is unapproachable.

I’m just tired of this place misrepresenting themselves and scamming the online community with inflated reviews. If you’re an actual patron of this gym, you’ll know it’s not the 5-star experience they have spent a lot of effort trying to have the public believe. Locker rooms are smelly (not just because they’re a locker room, I just don’t think cleaning is a priority here), showers and sauna are filthy with grime, equipment (while a great variety) is not always working properly or has issues. The TVs were perpetually only divisive political news all day, but I’ll acknowledge they curbed that recently. It just seems like the owner is an aloof idiot who doesn’t listen to his employees, patrons, or anyone else.
