I recently had a pathetic experience with Sports Motion Physical Therapy after offering me poor services. I never thought doctors could be so inhuman. I am a football player in one of the teams in Calabasas, and I suffered an injury during practice. The injury was serious and had to get knee surgery. My coach organized for me to be taking on one of the best centers in New york. My surgery went well, and I was to start playing as soon as I got better. However, the recovery process was more engaging than I expected. I had to look for a center near me with the surgery recovery process. I was not familiar with such a center in Calabasas. I asked for recommendations on the best centers in the area. One of my teammates asked to check out Sports Motion Physical Therapy, which was operational throughout even on weekends. I researched information about this particular center online, and from their online presence, I could tell they would serve me well. I called the center to book an appointment, which they scheduled immediately.
On the day of the appointment, I arrived on time to avoid causing any inconvenience. To my surprise, there was a long queue ahead of me. There was no point in booking an appointment if I was to queue like everyone else. This was a horrific and tiring experience considering I recently had knee surgery. I tried to talk my case to the receptionist, but she told me there was nothing that could be done. I had to wait for two hours before entering the consultation room. My knee was on pain as I had stood for while queuing, and I was hoping the practitioner would address the pain immediately. This was not the case as he kept explaining their policies and terms of payments instead of addressing my pain.
It took him almost thirty minutes to offer me, someone to ease my pain. The experience was horrific. After this, the practitioner requested me to show my commitment by making a down payment. I did so hoping to receive better care, not knowing it was a mistake. I was directed to the diagnosis room, which was crowded, and there was barely space to stand. The room was stuffy and disorganized, which made regret having chosen Sports Motion Physical Therapy. After the examination, the practitioner told me I was recovering well, but the wound required more care, and he walked away. I was left stranded, not sure about what he meant. I went back to the receptionist with the diagnosis report to be shown the way forward. The receptionist kept assuming me, but she eventually scheduled me another appointment the previous week. This was a horrible experience, and I left without paying the full amount because the services I received did not match the quoted prices. I looked for a better center to help me with the surgery recovery process and never went back to Sports Motion Physical Therapy.
