All of your fruit was kept in cold storage to long which gives poor texture and no sweet taste. I would hate to change grocery stores in that I am happy with service at all other customer service items. I shop at the new store on Florida and Sanderson in Hemet. I am sure you probably have the same buyer for the whole chain. The last item I purchased was peaches. Looked great not to soft but lacked any taste and texture. You could not tell you were eating a peach if you closed your eyes.

As a DEAF community worker, it is not often you find someone who can sign to the public. At the Huntington Beach (Adams Ave) store there was a tall skinny young man who helped many of my clients. When they asked about him, they were told he was FIRED for a spill of Meat from a Broken cart. The co-workers were upset he was gone, but the manager “Maurice” said he didn”t know anything about it. Maurice stated this worker quit because he did not like the new rules. After I walked away I heard him say to his staff that they should always say the person quit and that they were to b written up for their lack of respect for his management decision. If anything Maurice needs to go. This was on 3/21/17 and I am letting all the DEAF community know not to use Stater Bros due to the lack of respect for their needs as customers in this store.

Being a family of 5 kids we try and save money wherever we can. We purchase the Stater brand for this reason. I would never complain of an off brand for not being perfect because it is a off brand?? Whatever that means. Anyways we purchased 6 cans of Stater Bros Chicken & Stars Condensed Soup. I opened the first can for my 5 year old and when I warmed it up and stirred to cool it off I noticed there was no chicken? So I looked a little harder and finally found 1 little chunk of chicken? I open 2 other cans and each one had 2-3 pieces, and not big, but little pieces. I saved one can unopened. This is a problem. The picture on the can shows 6 square pieces. I can video the can and opening if needed.

My family came home yesterday (8/2/19) with 2 cartons of cracked eggs and nearly squished bread because one of the baggers thought it was a great idea to put the eggs and bread at the bottom of a bag with tea jugs on top of it. We”re outraged at this waste of our money due to the incompetence of your employees. This has happened several times to our family in the past at this same establishment because of your employee”s mistakes or employers negligence to train them properly and we”re simply tired of coming home with damaged goods.

Good morning, I usually am not a consumer to complain but my experience at Stater Bros Store #23 in Yucaipa was upsetting. I went in with my toddler for fruits and random groceries. In all I had 6 items so I proceeded to the fast lane check out that had its light turned on. I had a few staff members look at me directly without telling me to move to a different lane cause it was actually a closed lane. I had to ask if it was open. Only then was I directed to lane #4. No sorry. Then when I get to the new lane, I said “good morning” to the clerk, with the response, as she was switching over her register to someone else. Also an unfriendly clerk. I said thank you when she had back my change, no welcome/no greeting from anyone. They were busy talking amongst each other. Rude customer service I hope the staff can change.

Greetings, This is a step parent of a young employer that works at the Stater Bros in Moreno Valley on Pigeon Pass. By all means, I would like to be anonymous because I do not want my child in any kind of “work drama”, which this store often has. At this location, a numerous amount of employees have had sexual contact with each other. It is rather inappropriate, and very unprofessional. If you do not believe me then by all means, listen closely to what they discuss about in their working hours. They just flirt with one another on the clock or plan on what they will do outside of work. It is VERY disturbing to walk in and know that most have had some kind of sexual contact with each other. Their social media’s tell it all. (Snap chat stories specifically). The girls that work their need to have more respect for themselves, and the men that work there need to stop themselves from engaging. I do not wish to be contacted, and I wish I knew about this before. I know far too much about these employees and it makes me feel uncomfortable when I go in and grocery shop. I wish to not hear anything inappropriate from this store ever again.

HAIRY COOKIES!!! I found a hairs baked into my sugar cookies. I”m 6 1/2 month pregnant and I don”t feel safe eating these cookies anymore nor do i feel okay about giving these to my children. I do not have the empty bag anymore, but I am still looking for the receipt and I should be able to find it. I purchased the food from the corona, ca store approximately 6 to 7 days ago. What has to be done to make sure ur workers are not afraid to take a break or go fo lunch on time going 30 to 40 min late to their lunches is a bunch of Bs. I am a concerned parent of an employee that works at that location Aamiya Qasem and how management treats her. She was originally told her schedule was 3-9 then told she can work 7:30 am to 3p.m.. then was called the morning of and told someone called in and if she could work the later shift. She told them no unfortunately plans were made that couldn”t be changed and then was told ok just come in at 7:30 still. She did and when she got there was told go home and come back later. and she had no choice, that is threatening especially coming from a store manager to a young employee. I am extremely disappointed by the Stater Bros. move to the use of MORE plastic packaging at a time when most responsible companies are moving to REDUCE plastic use. A kiosk recently opened in the produce section which is devoted to cutting and packaging various sizes of fruits. This has resulted in less room for produce and a decrease in the variety of fresh fruits and vegetables available for purchase. Americans are interested in less plastic packaging, not more. Consumers are capable of cutting their own fruit and putting it in reusable containers. You are moving in the opposite direction of customer sentiment.

I am sending in my complaint about this lady cashier who made me feel very hurt emotionally. I bought some thing and asked for cash back.. She didn”t give me my receipt that showed my cash back she had to give me back. I personally saw her trashing it and wondered why?? So I stood on the side to let her work on other customers because she had called in for more cash to be brought in for her. When her manager brought in the cash… She asked me the receipt and I answered her that she didn”t give it to me.. she kept on insisting that she gave it to me. she started asking me why she would do such a thing not to give me a receipt that will prove how much she needs to give me back. I answered her that I saw you trashing it. And rudely she kept asking me the same thing why she would trash it??? I didn”t know what to answer her any more coz she made me look stupid and a lier Infront of so many customers. I asked the Meat Butcher to slice some 2 inch rib eye steaks into 3 slices because I need to use it for a church fundraiser for 150 people. he refused to slice it for me contending that the price of meat does not change. I told him that this is for a fundraising for a church and it is more cost effective for me to feed 3 people using a 2 inch steak rather than 2. He still refused to do it for me. Three days ago I had one of the personnel on the same store to slice 2 inch ribeye steak in 4 slices with no problem. This is not good customer service. I will not buy from your store and I will inform our 5000 church member what you meat personnel did.

I bought a 12 pack of Bear Republic IPA last weekend and the taste was not anything near an IPA of the past. The expiration date is July 2018 so I”m not understand why this could be the case. I bought also bought, at the same time, the New Belgium 12 pack of IPA, and it”s much better. Anyhow, don”t mean to be a pest but I”ve been a loyal customer for many years and these craft beer do go at a premium so I”d want to voice this and hopefully not see a trend in quality. Thanks

I have been a long time customer at Staterbro’s and the experience and customer service that I received on December 23, 2018 at the store location 197 was horrible. when checking out with Lance R. I informed him that I had two $100 bills that were stuck together as I handed him the money to pay for my transaction. He took the money and just tossed it in the bottom of his drawer. I then informed him where is my $100 he said “oh I didn’t hear you and I don’t know what was in the drawer before you handed me the money” he then called Mike M. a manager over and Mike’s response was ( a deep breath) “I will have to check the cameras” I informed him that it will look like one $100 bill because they were stuck together. Mike came back down with the same Nonchalant attitude and informed that it just looked like one $100 bill and there was nothing they could do until the drawer was counted, I asked him to count the drawer he refused to do so and informed me that I had to call the next day (Christmas Eve) at 6am. I called Jean the next morning and she had no idea what was going on. Mike did not take down my name contact information and also had no sense of urgency to the situation and provided HORRIBLE customer service. Jean informed me that they would be calling me back around 2pm to inform if the drawer was over. at 3pm David Thielfoldt called to inform money was found. when I returned to the store to get my money he was so rude there was no empathy, no apology for the situation he handed me the money and said “thank you” that was it. I was so shocked that every person that I spoke to in management had horrible customer service as a company you need to look into getting management trained to deal and handle these situations better. I am thankful that I got my money back but this makes me question Staterbros as a brand and store that I would shop at since the way they treated me. customer service is everything now a days and I’m just shocked and hurt by the lack of on this day. Please train management better and train cashiers to listen to customers!

Tonight 6/28/12, stopped at Staters La Verne and this cashier name Frank C. looked at me did not say anything, i asked him about the paper towel special and he answer like i was stupid, and I ask who is the manager of the store and he exclaimed ” I AM” and i told him his rude and just said sorry for his rudeness. I have been a Staters customer for 30 years, and if there was another option in town, I would desert you! I have never been more frustrated by anything than that stupid digital deals keypad! At Safeway, on vacation in Hawaii, they swipe my card: two seconds! Costco; ditto! Staters: having to input my phone number:I hold up the line. I often get it wrong and have to enter it numerous times! I am a teacher! I input thousands of numeric grades a year! I know a numeric keypad blindfolded! But “you entered it wrong!” “You hit a seven instead of a six” (NO I did not! They are on opposite sides of the keypad!) I am so frustrated, holding up a line and being treated as an incompetent old man! “Here, let ME help you!” This has happened repeatedly, numerous occasions. I have gotten home and realized that I did not even get the discount! How many people have you screwed with this antiquated system? You want to track my purchases? I have been going to this stater bros as a kid and through out all the staff change or times changing I have never felt so humiliated as well as uncomfortable shopping there on more than 2 different occasions. Now I know all stores need to keep there company up to standards. Theres a reason why this store felt a need to hire security . Now I have a problem with a young man there who stands in front hes Hispanic 24 or 25 I cant recall his name but hes the security for the parking lot and the store itself he will follow you while your shopping peep in and out of iles to where hes so close i have bumped into him. Iam 45 years old I think I can do my own shopping. I paid.for my stuff and continued to exit as I was he stopped my car with his hand and grabbed my shopping bag and said he saw something on the camera that was in my bad and I needed to surrender it or else I will get arrested he than looked in my bag there was nothing he than said dont come back to my store and took a picture of my license plate I think he should take some more classes on his job hes rude and he does this quite often speaking to my friends who shop there regularly can there be something done. I have fed my Cats Stater”s Brand Canned Catfood for years. The last few weeks my cats have been unable to eat any of it!! Plus the stray cats and possums outside are not eating it either!! I tried adding another brand catfood to the Staters canned catfood and “Still” none of the animals are eating it!! My Cats were starving and getting thin so I am now spending over TWICE as much money on Friskies canned catfood and my cats are eating it all up! I am afraid that the Stater”s Canned Catfood may be contaminated and possibly DANGEROUS to Cats!!!

I have purchased 2 trays of chicken on 2/16/2011 packaged by Stater Bros. The same day (today) I opened one of them, when I cut the plastic wrap the meat was STINKING, had a putrid smell, It made me sick, I turned over one of the chicken pieces it was GREEN. I went back to return the chicken, they take for ever to give your money back, I think they do it intentionally, so you dread on returning it. While I was there I looked at the other chicken trays on the shelf, they were GREEN. I pointed it out to the meat service employee, he just ignored me. I guess they will leave it there so someone else can buy it and get sick. BE CAREFUL ! I will not buy meat from Stater Bros. The house still stinks form the chicken. I had enough.

I have shopped at the stater bros located on mountain ave / philadelphia st. , in south ontario for over 20 years. Never have I meet a manager that did not appreciate a compliment given regarding an employee! I had mentioned to this manager how nice the floors of the store had been looking, and that the janitor was doing a nice job. However, brett bullard, the current manager of the store location, had nothing nice to say about his janitor! Instead he began complaining about how he did not care for the current janitor and that he had just slashed that janitor”s hours for poor work performance. I just yelped this as I”m appalled… We have been coming here for over 7 months now since we bought our Retirement home on the Lake and we mostly get checked out by a tall slim guy called Dan. My family have joked with him about him having the same name as my husband so he”s easy to remember and have shot the breeze with him many times (we go there around three to 4 times a week). But today when I had left my wallet at home with my ID in it, ( i just had my ATM and credit card in my phone case) he would not serve me the alcohol I was buying. I thought he was kidding and I said, Dan you know me, You know my family, I”ve showed you my ID before. He looked blankly at me??? BTW. I”m 44 and I look 44. I reminded him that he”s met my 23 year old son and two teenage girls and he looked at me blankly again. OMG! really???? Are you kidding me? I was very polite but said look at my wrinkles Dan, we”ve joked about this before. Again Nothing. I always go out of my way to be extra chatty and nice to Dan as he really doesn”t have an outgoing friendly personality. Anyways, He called the on site manager who didn”t even bother to come over and talk to me, a loyal customer who spends hundreds of Dollars a week there. but Dan doesn”t tell me this until he rings in everything and the lady packing the bags asks for him to pass the alcohol to her to pack and he says rudely, We won”t be selling alcohol to “this person.” today. I was completely shocked and the man behind in the line was like “are you serious Man?” to Dan the forgetful checker. I was mortified, The lady packing the bags was very apologetic as she knows me and we talk about our like for Champagne every now and then. Meanwhile, Dan says, Sorry, that”s just how it is at this store. WOW! What a disgrace, if I Looked 25, 30 or 35.. I would understand but I don”t and this guy sees us four times a week on the average week. Horrible, Awful customer service by him and especially the store manager who couldn”t be bothered to even come talk to me. Talk about your all time bad MANAGEMENT. We are respectful people who retired to this area and this is just not right. BTW. I was there on 1/30/2017 at 10.45am So I have decided to shop at Jensen from now on due to the Management and Dan at Stater Brothers. Not that Stater Brother”s will give a care in the world. Broadway Escondido 25ft separates My balcony from the alleyway, I have complained before about Your Driver’s stopping along the wall & running their truck’s & refers t has become a problem again! Stater Bros must be the only 21st Century company to not have ONE email address. I called corporate, and you cannot email the Chairman of the Board, the President, no one. I suppose one reason might be that they don”t need to pay anyone to answer the email, and they also can claim they never received any complaint, as one can always lie about phone calls. I do not enjoy being shaken down, and seeing other customers shaken down to donate to a charity while waiting to pay for their groceries. No, I don”t blame the employees, because they are forced to do this. They can even give the spiel in Spanish, so they can extort money from Spanish speakers. No, I have nothing against charity, and wouldn”t mind if they had a flier or poster advertising said charity. I very much resent being the unwitting subject of a sales pitch, having no way to escape the harassment if I desire to depart with my groceries. In addition, prior to entering the store, I had no warning that upon entering, I had agreed to hear a sales pitch. This is worse than a solicitor showing up at my door, as I don”t have to answer the door. Perhaps they will say I am the only one who has bothered to complain, but I can assure you that a survey of customers would yield 90%+ who feel uncomfortable, embarrased and put on the spot, and would rather not be subject to this invasion of their privacy. Even though it is inconvenient, I will shop elsewhere.

I purchased some meat last week and when I opened up the package, I smelled horrible. The date on the meat was still within the expiration date. I returned the package and while I was there waiting for my refund I saw a roach. I brought it to the managers attention and he did not know what to say.
