I have real-life experience in the field of autism; both as a parent and treating children and teens with autism spectrum disorders. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor. I have enjoyed working with a wide range of clients in clinical offices, day treatment facilities, as well as preschool, elementary and high school.I provide evidence-based psychotherapy services such as cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. My specialties include counseling for high functioning autism, anxiety, and depression. I also specialize in therapy and coping strategies specific for parents of children with autism and related disabilities.Research suggests that a trusting alliance with your counselor is the most important catalyst for healing. I have had success establishing trust even with reluctant adolescents. I am a compassionate, non-judgemental, and relaxed psychotherapist.
