Suffolk county and it’s legislatures have successfully managed an unconstitutional red light ticket program to raise money to help finace years of monetary ignorance. Kudos suffolk county, you now have violated the constitutional right of thousands of hardworking people that live in suffolk, we already pay some of the highest taxes in the nation, and now you have wasted our $$ in a even more shameful way, not only are you wasting our time and money with this nonsense but you are casually violating our 6th amendment right to face our accuser, how can a camera be question at a trial? Even better is the flawed studies that you attempt to cite on the website, every unbiased document on these thing clearly show that rear end collision increase at intersection where they are placed. I will be laughing when the county has to refund the $$ that they are generating from this scam. It’s really sad when you have to create a morally and legally corrupt program and mask it behind the facade of a public safety initiative… Enjoy the $$ when it last you will spend more refunding it just like every other bankrupt municipality that attempted this.
