AB1534 says in a buy here pay here lot the state as of 1/01/2013 has put a cap on the interest rate the dealer can charge the cap is 17.25% they charged me 21% . SB-956 (18505) (1) in a buy here pay her they the car lot can not phisically repossess a vehicle other than through the services of a licensed repossession agency , they went around this law and repoed themselves . SB-956 (18505) (2) in a buy here pay here they the dealer cannot charge a buyer an amount exceeding $500 thats five hundred dollars resulting commencement by the dealer of any action to repossess a vehicle , they charged us $1275.00 not legal . After repossession the dealer must give in writing at least 15 days notice before they sell the vehicle , Super Shopper only gave us 12 days also going around that law . In a seperate deal a salesman named Rod sold us a GMC truck we went through a bank on this deal and we not only have a signed legal sales contract that says we put down $2000 cash we also have a reciept made out by Rod stating we put down $1000 cash down and also have a labor trade agreement that says we would do interior work for them for $ 1000 toward the down , now Rod is demanding the $1000 dollars back because he claims the work was not done yet we have a signed by him sales contract that states we put $ 2000 in cash down . He also knowingly sold a truck that had a brake light on indicating some sort of brake failure and 3 tires that were well below the legal ware bar and even though he promised to make the repairs he never did . .
