It’s so sad to be ripped off your hard earned money. I was a victim of this recently and feel so let down and even question my own sense for going with Talro Insurance Agency for my car insurance. I should have taken action quite early into buying this insurance. I made the first payment at least a week before the deadline and guess what, I get a letter saying I had defaulted by 5 days. Really? I pay a week early and you tell me I defaulted on payment by 5 days. I had to call them up and tell about this. It took 4 calls, about an hour of being put on hold and a big argument to get this sorted out. I had the invoices and receipts and transaction ID of the payment and yet, it was not enough for them. I don’t understand what else could be needed to prove that I have paid them earlier than my deadline, way earlier. But the worst was yet to come. I unfortunately got into a car accident and the front of my car was smashed quite bad. I was lucky to get away with no real injuries but was then scarred by Talro Insurance Agency. They had me take my car to an agency that they had a tie up with. The company said that the charges for replacement of the part would be way below what the car company was actually demanding. This meant that I had to pay more than three quarters of the bill that the car company were quoting to get the repairs done. I did not have that kind of money on me and I had paid for the insurance already. I’m still arguing with them as my car continues to be in the car company waiting for the repairs.
