In June of 2013 I purchased a pull behind lawn mower from Team Effort Cycle. After using the mower for about 2 minutes the belt shredded. Team Effort brought me a new one to replace myself. The same thing happened. They asked me to bring it in and they would look at it. The next day they told me they couldn’t help me because they are not an authorized service center for the mower. I then told them I wanted to return the lawn mower. THey tell me at that point that the lawn mower was a speccial order item and they don’t give refunds. THis mower cost $1,900 and was worthless to me. After contacting the manufacturer they agreed to return the lawn mower but could only refund me the amount that Team Effort paid them, they could not return the amount that Team Effort marked up the lawn mower which turns out to be $600. Since the manufacturer agreed that there is a problem with the mower and accepted the return TEam Effort should alsop return their mark-up but they refuse. Do not ever purchase anything from them because they will never fix it if it breaks or return an item if it does not perform as stated.
