I work with an Interior Design firm and we sent fabric to Resist Flame/Fabric Finishing Partners in June 2014 at the end of July I was contacted by Tom Applegate for my credit card number and told the fabrics would be ready to ship the next week. These fabrics were being shipped directly to an upholsterer who at that time I informed that the fabrics were on their way. A few weeks ago I was shocked to find out that the fabrics had not arrived to the upholsterer. Since then I have been trying to contact Resist Flame with no results. I have been emailing and calling for several weeks now. Every single time I call their business phone I get a message stating that their mail box is full. I have received one reply email from Tom Applegate 10 days ago saying that somehow the fabrics got moved and never shipped in August when I was told they were shipping. He assured me that he had located them and would ship them out immediately. Over a week has transpired since that email and the fabrics still have not arrived. I have sent dozens of emails asking for tracking information and when the fabrics were shipped. I have received NO response. Their voice box is still full and not taking any messages. How can you run a business like this? This is not the first complaint this company has here on complaint and they also have an “F” rating with the Better Business Bureau with at least 10 complaint registered against them. Wish we had known this before we sent our fabrics to them. I would NEVER do business with this company again. They clearly have no regard for their customers and don’t even make the slightest effort to respond. I have reached out to others at this company via email and No response from ANYONE. This is thousands of dollars worth of fabric that I am talking about. Not sure what my next stop should be and I’m not even convinced that he has actually located the fabric. Would love to here from others who have had a problem with this company.
