I received a call from The International Nurses Association by a woman named Donna Farrise, call back number 844-698-7372 x 2256. After 20 minutes of sweet talk about my career and my accomplishments, she finally proceeded to tell me that I could join for $785.00. My answer was, "for what"? What am I getting for my $785.00? She reeled off a couple of things, like getting mentioned in a news letter, something about google and getting into some other news thing that made no sense. I can’t imagine what possibly could be worth $785.00 PLUS a monthly fee. When I started seriously questioning her about this, miraculously the prices started coming down. From $785.00 to $358.00. I questioned that and then she made me another offer of just $$ per month. The last offer she gave me was for $44.00 per month and that she had held the press for me and I needed to tell her right away. She even said I was chosen in my area to be part of this great newsletter. I laughed and said, "anyone is chosen if they give you $700.00". Such a scam! I am so disappointed in this. Using the healthcare industry to scam honest, hard, and may I repeat hard working individuals that do not get paid what they are worth. They almost got me so please do not give these people your credit card information. I suggest if you want the recognition go to the state level. The organizations that give you your license. You’ll be safe that way. Or better yet, start your own newsletter in your community recognizing great accomplishment of local hard working people.
