In a world where self-sufficiency and independence is the expectation, reaching out for help takes great courage and humility. Courage to be vulnerable and humility to accept support. Whether you are facing an unexpected challenge, or have been walking a tight rope between coping and falling apart, struggle does not have to be the end of the story. Through counseling, I help individuals become more resilient, adaptive and authentic in their lives and relationships. Together, we will explore the patterns that have prevented you from having the life you desire, while embracing the “enoughness” of the here and now.I am passionate about working with individuals and couples who feel stuck, rejected and alone. Together we’ll balance accepting the things we cannot change and changing the things that are unacceptable. While no life is without struggle, we will focus on both the burden, and how we carry it.Counseling with me will be active, and full of dialogue. Using traditional “talk” therapy and interactive learning, therapy will not be something that is done to you, but an experience. Humor will also be present, because even a chuckle or half smile can shine light into a dark space.
