Took my car for a simple oil change. It took over two hours. They claim the issue as an oil filter not in stock yet I was not ever mentioned they had to order one. After the service, several weeks past as I do not use this car often in the winter I noticed an oil puddle on my garage. OIL leak. I checked the dipstick and the tube had been shattered. Of course the mechanic did this and NEVER told. Of course they damaged the car. NO LEAK BEFORE. LEAK AFTER. Of course, they deny this. We shall see them in court. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. .

I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. I’ve had it since April 2013. I started going to tires plus for my oil changes only from the time I owned the vehicle. My last visit was June 2014. I went in and everything started out normal. People were coming in after me and I realized that everyone that came in after me was gone. I went to see why it was taking so long for a oil change. I looked in the window the guy that was looking at my car couldn’t of been older then 20 years old. The lady at the counter went to the back after I ask her why is it taking so long. He said something to her and then the next thing I know they were bringing my car to the front. I asked the lady how old was this guy and is she sure he did an oil change and did he put the right oil in my car. She said she watched him put it in. Wish I would of paid someone to double check my car that day because after that the car started sounding different when started eventually the engine literally feel apart. When the mechanic let some of the oil out it was completely black. He said if this was new oil it wouldn’t be this dark. I had this same engine checked by the same person when I got this vehicle he said the previous owners took very good care of this truck and the engine was sweet as he put it. It took my trip to tires plus to ruin a perfectly good engine. To this day I don’t know what this young boy had me waiting for for two hours. I never seen him do anything to the truck besides put it on the lift and inspect it. I know he was not a certified mechanic so why was he allowed to service my car. My engine has chunks and chunks of metal in it. The sad part is I don’t have the money to fix it so I’m back on the bus. I will never go back to tires plus and I will let eveyone I know about my experience. I can’t believe I went from only needing oil changes to chunks of metal in my engine. So pissed at this situation replacing an engine is costly and when I called the store where my car was serviced the female told me it probably was a rod that broke. You don’t know and she didn’t care to find out she said she has seen hhundreds of cars since then. It don’t matter that I’m out of a car. I have to take my grandkids on the bus. I forgot to mention that I also got a discount for my services that day. Now I know why?

Having done business with this store before I felt confident in chosing them to install my new set of tires.When I went in however I was in for a big surprise.After having been quoted $212 for the cost of tires the total bill came out to well over $300.When I questioned that the MANAGERS response was “MY MEN DON’T WORK FOR FREE”. And there it was ! ANOTHER $40.00 charge for labor on top of the $14.95 for what used to be labor !!!! I checked around and could not find anyone else practicing this deceptive sales close. We had driven to Washington DC, Gettysberg and were ending in Hershey/ York ,PA. We were leaving te next morning to drive back to Michigan and decided to go out to eat somewhere not too far from the Yorketowne Hotel because we planned on leaving bright and early so we could get home at a decent hour. After getting the van from the underground garage we drove down the street and experienced a blow out of the passenger front tire. I called the hotel to get a number for a local tow truck driver and the first driver pulled up and said that he couldn’t tow my van because he would “rip the bumper off” and said there was nothing he could do and left us 1 mile from the hotel on a hot July evening. My daughter has asthma and almost had an attack walking back to our hotel. Then we got $40 pizza delivered to us by Dominoe’s. We went to bed and called a different tow truck in the morning to change my tire. Once getting to the van the other driver said the first company was famous for not doing their job. Once he got the van lifted up he could see a sway bar had broken and punctured the tire ao he towed us to Tires Plus in York ( because he was an honest place that took care of it’s customers) across from the West Machester Mall. He got my information and after inspecting the van said that he would have to replace both sides, even though the drivers side was fine and the job would take up to 8 hours. Plus the Yorkeowne Hotel made my kids check out at noon even though they had nowhere to go but to wait in the lobby. Sorry they didn’t care either, I explained my situsation and they said check out is noon. Oh yeah $1500, but I could try to get credit oh that didn’t work, I could go to a credit union service center and grab the cash. He was SO nice I got to use his car. We were able to drive home but once getting home my mechanic was LIVID because there is no way that it was required to replace the other sway bar and the cost should have never been close to a thousand dollars, but I am a widow and needed to take my children home so I could return to work on Monday. After this experience I will NEVER go to York, Pennsylvania and would warn any single woman to make sure you have a man with you so that the “fine honest people” at Tires Plus don’t make you pay for unnecessary repairs and charge you through the nose and the wonderful tow truck company that left a mother and 4 kids at the side of the road on hot humid Friday night. Let this be a warning if you don’t have to travel to York DON’T !!

On July 15, 2014 I took my 2008 Chevy Silverado in to have my brakes checked and changed base on a sale advertisement. Advertisement was $99.95 which included the brake pads and the turning of the rotors. I check rotors myself I knew they could be turned, they came back and told me I needed new rotors, new brake pads, new brake shoes, and the lining for the brake shoes, the cost for the work would have been $1101.33. The cost of what they were telling me just didn’t sound right to me because of what I knew about my vehicle. I took my truck to a different shop, my brake shoes and lining were good, my brake pads needed to be changed, and my rotors could be turned, an that only cost me $221. It’s ridiculous how some shops take advantage or try to take advantage of women.

On 10 APRIL 2014, my daughter and her boyfriend had to push my auto, a 2005 HONDA ODYSSEY, into the TIRES PLUS LOCATION at 13842 TOWNE PLACE BLVD IN ORLANDO due to either a defective alternator or starter. Although they did the work in one day, they took advantage of her situation and grossly overcharged her for the part and labor. According to my mechanic in Tampa, the charge should have been more than half the price charged by TIRESPLUS of $495.62. Based on a online parts search, they charged three times the actual cost. In addition, they charged her one unit–assuming an hour of $158.40–for a 15-minute job. She was in a bind since we were out of town, and I feel that TIRES PLUS, took advantage of the situation. I have a life-time front-end alignment policy with TIRES PLUS and I am very disappointed on how they treat their customers–and they expect loyalty—REALLY!!!! 11-21-2012 went to tires plus they replaced a power steering pump on my 2002 honda odessey [protected] while getting an oil change at another place was told there was power steering fluid leaking [protected] returned to tires plus Was told yes fluid leaking they would need to replace pump again 12-30-2013 now again issue with pump I go to honda dealership to solve the issue Result I need a new power steering pump. 500 more dollars I call tires plus and they state I am out of warranty! Which one I ask? It is only 10 months since I replaced the second pump. They state no warranty on second pump only on first one! I am very disappointed with this clear dishonest tactic. I had a funny feeling when I brought the van back that they never did change out the part. Something is clearly fishy here. I don”t appreciate having to replace a part that originally lasted 10 years three times in two years. I expect at least to be compensated for the third pump.

9/20/2017 Went for an Oil Change right after getting my car out of the Body Shop (Front End replaced, New radiator, New Condenser, New Cooling Fan, New Battery etc) New front end basically. Had Oil Change completed along with 29 Point inspection when I went to pay I was given a print out of recommended services which consisted of : Need Radiator Flush & fill, Need a Battery, Need coolant fluid Exchange. How could you come up this Recommendations when I have all new parts in which you can clearly see. Service Adviser was Xavier Sorry for the delay in responding.

9/30/18 Went to the Tires plus location on 577 Dekalb Industrial Way location in Decatur GA to have my tires rotated and was told that one of my hubcaps was broken and they didn”t want to try to put it back on without breaking it. The hubcab was not broken prior to me bringing it there and it seems like every time I bring my car to this location something gets broken. I was told by Zenobia North that she would call and let me know before the store closed too see if they had gotten the hubcap and I received no call. I called this morning and spoke to the manager who later called me back and told me that they would probably have it for me on today or tomorrow. My in cabin air filter was changed 3/30/18 at your location and the handle had come off the glove compartment and I opened the glove compartment for them and explained very carefully that the handle had been broken and showed then how to get in. Week after I had had the In cabin air filter I tried to access my glove box and the latch was broken all the way off now I can”t enter my glove box at all. No one had the decency to tell me that it was broken and you can tell they tried to force it open because there were scratches. About 2 or three years ago my car alternator went out, and the nearest place to me was tires plus. I took my car there and they told me what the problem was, and I told them to fix it. A friend picked me up, and throughout the day, I kept getting calls to see if they could replace my winshield wipers for x amount of dollars, and that I needed a new battery because my other one was drained from not being recharged due to the alernator problem. I told them just fix whatever problems came with the alternator. I come back and my bill is 750 dollars, I don’t see my old battery, which was only six months old, and they don’t give it back to me. Now it is three years later, and I have the same alternator problem. I don’t think that is long enough for that 750 dollar service and part to last. Don’t EVER take your car here!!!

About a month ago we hear a rattling and a high pitch squeal under our truck, we took it to Tires Plus Indian harbor beach, Florida for them to take a look at. They had it 4 hours and said its a loose shocker bolt and the heat shield was loose, we paid them and they said they had fixed it. Upon leaving we heard the same noise so we called them back to take it in again, as we got there the engine light came on, he got his OBD meter out and it gave a catalyst error code, he said its probably them going bad so we left it for them to do a 2 hour catalyst systems check that cost $140. We called them up asking if they had found out what it was, he said that the catalyst was bad and need replacing and would cost $940 to do it all. He said they would call me back to tell me when they could get the parts from Orlando, which would take a few hours and to do it if we wanted to go ahead with it, so I said ok. But the price had jumped from $940 to $1200. He called back about 30 minutes later and said that they could have it back to me by late afternoon and the parts was already at there shop. I thought it was funny as he told me earlier that they would be coming from Orlando and take a few hours. When I picked it up the shop was closing and was seen by Jeff and he said the trucks fixed now and gave me a price tag of $1429. He told me that they didnt include things prior. When I got into my truck it had the same noise as it did when I left it, so I called them back the next day and told them its not fixed . So we went to the shop and was told by the guys at the front that basically I was a idiot and was fixed and blew us off. As from the video, sounds terrible. As an Irma evacuee from Florida my van was not riding good on the road and I thought there might be something seriously wrong with it. I took my van to a mechanic in Erlanger KY., he said the tires should be rotated and balanced, but he didn”t do that kind of work and recommend Tires Plus just a short distance away. They took me right in and I paid the hefty bill of over $50.00. I noticed on my way back to FL that the van was doing the same thing, and the vibration got so bad that I had to travel 60 mph or less to minimize it. When I got back I took it to the same place that took care of my truck and come to find out that all the tires were out of balance bad. After leaving there it drove like a dream. I have wrote a letter to the Corporate Office here in FL only to have it returned as Insufficient address. It was a good address. I ended up mailing it to an address in TN that I was given. I was only asking for reimbursement of the cost of having to have the job done again. Apparently it ended up in the trash as I did this back last September, and it is now January. I will never deal with the company again.

At an Iowa Tires Plus Store: Best Tire Price put in writing on their web site state they will match any locally advertised price on tires. I have been a customer for 9 years at this location. I happen to want to replace my Michelin Tires with another set of Michelin. I do all the leg work for the Price Match Guarantee and after speaking with 3 store employees (whom all state they are a manager), & who all had told me something different, I speak with the District Manager whom states, “We don’t price match tires that we don’t carry.” I also told him none of the other 3 “managers” mentioned this to me. I asked, Where in their advertisements is this located? He could not tell me. False Advertising!?!

back in may took my car in get 8 new spark plus bills $154.00 for labor and platium bosch plugs, now i started to have problem with my car runny rough took it to my mechanic in starke since it closer found out that they didnt replace my spark plus and left the oringal in it so they robbed me and didnt change any of my spark plus and i was there sitting in waiting room at tires plus for almost 3 hrs and i was told that they had to order parts like normal reason but never change it, I will not recommend any one to tires plus they are thiefs and bad customers service.

Bayonet Point, FL: It took them 5.5 hours to install 4 wheels & do a tune-up w/oil change. Car wouldn”t run when they were through. They said the battery was dead and insisted in me purchasing a new battery when they knew the old one was still under warranty. They test drove the car before giving me the car and the battery light was on. I was told that it was OK and would turn off in a couple of days! As it turns out, the alternator was bad. brought my car in for a clunking noise it is still there. I have a 2007 Dodge Charger. They told me It was ball joints it still doing it now he saying it”s something else. Not to mention I was highly embarrassed because Matt charged my card then said he didn”t then I had to wait and call customer service myself. Never apologized or nothing. Brought the vehicle in for 2 new tires and a alignment. Service writer came back and indicated that I had a bad tie rod and bushing that needed to be replaced prior to an alignment. The alignment would be worthless if these items were not corrected first. Total cost $488.00 . Had a personal friend look at the vehicle and said there is no reason to replace the tie rod, atleast not right now. The service writer also indicated that my air filter was bad and needed to be replaced-why I dont know, I didnt ask for this service, he had no reason to look under my hood. The cost to replace an air filter $39.00. The real filter was replaced less than 4 months ago and actually takes some work to get at. Okay, I know everyone is starving and we all want to make more money but this gentleman lied point blank to me and indicated “there are 2 filters, one to clean the air in your car and one for the engine.” This reminds me of 7 years ago when I went to the west side Tired Plus to get new tires- this gentleman indicated that my brakes were bad-were they? No I brought it to another dealer and they told me I had another year of use out of them. These people that work for tires plus are crooks, should not be trusted and should be put out of business.

He originally quoted $179 to replace.. I hesitantly agreed. After $54 hose ($18 online) was replaced, it still leaked, back next day, wasted another hour, took it home, still leaked. Returned three days in a row, still leaking. Third day (Oscar”s) day off. I personally talked to the repairman and suggested he check the.25 cent rubber seal between the new hose and pump. Yes!!! It was the.25 cent rubber seal that was broken. He showed me the seal and replaced it with an old one from his tool box and apologized.. He did what (Oscar) told him to do.. Replacing the hose was not required, no broken hose. I requested the old hose to examine and found no breaks. Oscar would not let me see the new replacement hose… I accepted whatever at this point, I just wanted to get away from these people.. It was my call, my loss, I trusted oscar”s diagnoses, my mistake.. They offered me a free oil change for the inconvenience and I accepted. Next day I decided to check the oil just to make sure it was okay. It was 1 qt overfull. I called oscar, immediately took it back to be drained. He confirmed it was overfilled, took my keys and then told me I had to sign a statement saying I would accept, not following manufactures instructions of oil capacity, allowing one qt below manufactures recommendations. I told him (No) please give me my keys back and I will take it somewhere else, I don”t trust you… He (Oscar) refused to give me my keys until I sign a statement… Of course I refused to sign any statements and asked for my keys again (At least 5 times) he wouldn”t even acknowledge me.. I was about to call the police and he finally relinquished and gave me my keys. There were two other customers who thought this guy was mentally ill… They couldn”t believe oscars demeanor and attitude… One customer immediately left. She was scared of him. I took my vehicle a couple of blocks down the street to one of their competitors had it drained and replaced with the correct amount… This was not the first time I was burned at this location… I learned my lesson this time, never again..

Extremly unethical outfit. West Chester, PA location. They tried to bilk me out of $2, 000 of repairs my car did not need. I am fortunate that I am mechanically inclined as I was able to tell off the bat that their assesment of my vehicle was way out of whack. I declined their services and walked away. Took a look at the problems they said existed only to find nothing was wrong. Took it to another mechanic to be sure & he backed up my findings. Looked up the parts they wanted to use only to find they were marking them up 400%. These guys are crooks pure and simple.

found a screw in one of the new tires I had installed at your Englewood fla store, called them up for an appointment to have it repaired, was told that it would take 30 to 45 minutes to have it patched. showed up at the store on time, only to wait 90 minutes before I was told their “tire man” went to lunch and I would have to wait even longer. why even give people appointments if you cant keep them? better yet, why employ someone at a tire service that isn”t a “tire man”? two of your employees were standing around playing games on their phone, while only one was working in the bay. unbelieveable

Good morning, I”m writing you to complain about the service I received today from Tires Plus on 13162 Atlantic Blvd Jacksonville Fl. 32225. I paid to have my AC system checked in my 1994 Lexus GS 300. The mechanics said that I needed a Clutch Fan, Air conditioning 134A Service, which all totaled over 504.00 dollars. When I brought the car in I explained that my AC light was flashing and that my AC would not continuously blow cold air. When I left after paying for what your mechanics said I needed, my car”s AC was still not working and my AC light was still flashing. So I returned the vehicle to have it checked again and this time your mechanics said I needed a compressor which was 1400.00 dollars and I could not get a refund or work some agreement out because I had already paid over 500 for the wrong thing to be fixed. Have gone to tires plus to get an alignment and i purchased the 3 year warranty plan. They deceived me by telling me they did an alignment and gave me a printout of a mazda [protected] alignment printout for a date that i did not even my car to them. I have a Mazda 2007. When i asked the manager why they gave me that printout he could not answer me and still my vehicle alignment was not done. Took my vehicle back and a tech hurried up and may like he did an alignment but car still drifting to the left. Still alignment problem not corrected. The location on hwy 78 in snellville, ga was selling the 3 year alignment warranty but they do not want to honor it and refuse to do the alignment correctly. I am requesting my money back for the 3 year warranty that i purchased.

Hello I was in Sarasota dropping my son off to play basketball and experienced some noise coming from the bearing. i took it to the store on 2975 University Pkwy, Sarasota, FL 34243 paid a lot of money to have the job done. A few months later i get the same noise, i live in Port Charlotte so take it to Kings Highway Tyres plus who diagnose that the last bearing put on in sarasota was not done correctly so they order the parts and replace it, at this point im 4 days without my car. 500 miles on the noise comes back so i take it back to Tyres plus Kings Higway, they then tell me that the guys in Sarasota did not put some shimms in and because they did not put them in the guys in Port Charlotte did not see them and so put the bearing in without them again and this is why the bearing failed again. Now the car has been with them for nearly a week, the port charlotte guys are picking up the pieces from a poor job in Sarasota but now im been told i can pick the car up on Friday well over a week without a car this is not right and i think i should be compensated for this bad workmanship

Hi there, I went to one of your locations in my neighbourhood in fort lauderdale to change the car mounts.. Left the car early am and received a call by afternoon from the service manager informing me that the mounts and the passenger, driver axles are warn out and needs to be changed. I told him ok please go ahead… However, the car only had a vibration on idle (which are the mounts) and the car acceleration was not as it used to be… That”s the only symptom I reported… Anyway, I stopped by the location by end of day to pick up my car.. While test driving, I felt that the car is completely shaking (like the tires will come out from the body of the car) and this happens right before the transmission shifts from the 1st to the 2nd gear and same thing repeats when the 2nd gear shifts to the 3rd.. Also, during the freeway ride over 50mph, the car shakes weirdly… None of that happened before I drop of my car… Anyway, I paid and took the car home.. My wife drove the car from south fl to north fl, the car started to shake very bad and we had to tow the car back to fort lauderdale… The next day I took the car back to the same location asking the sales manager (greg) why this is happening? He referred that to the tires and that they need to be replaced! I did immediately… Guess what? Same thing didn”t go… And greg was already left for the day… I had to bring the car back the next day and spoke to a very helpful man (tom) who is managing the location… And he tried to call the dealer to find out why this is happening… At the end, he advised to bring another axle as the one installed in the car, could be defected.. I left the car and received a call the next day that the car is ready for pick up.. I went there and was completely shocked to drive the car and find the exact same thing… How in the world you are giving me a call telling me it”s done, while you didn”t at least test drive it to make sure it was fixed or not… I really was very frustrated and sad… Then I brought the car again the next day and tom told me that we may need to replace the bearing… I said ok.. Hope it will be ok this time… I stopped by that afternoon to see the car is completely ignored.. I asked the mechanic (david) who is being doing all the work in the car.. Why you guys not working on it? It was very funny when he said (I told tom this morning that the axe already came with it”s bearing)… Wow.. Seems that there is zero communication between everyone in there… Terrible.. Then I was very upset and politely requested a refund… I told them that I am fair and I know you replaced the mounts and this symptom of the vibration is already disappeared, and I will pay for it… But I want a refund for the axles… And they actually did refund $600 from total $1, 800… I took a picture at the store of the old original axle that used to run in the car and the one that you used for the repair.. I was shocked again to see that they are completely different in size.. The one that used to be in my car has the white volvo labeland it”s longer than the new one… Please see the attached photo… How a car repair shop does that to ppl cars? They don”t care of the money that we work very hard to make? Or they don”t care if we spend a lot of money taking uber, tow the car, and take unnecessary time off from work to drop and pick up the car for 5 times… I don”t think tire plus management would stand behind this terrible service… I took the car to the volvo dealer and he informed me that the transmission oil seals and the transmission abs rungs are broken due to improper handling while repairing the axles… It cost over $3, 000 to be back now… I used to work with volvo dealer since I bought the car and now i”m very sad to see my car messed up because of your team… If customer service still mean something to your company, i”m sure you will do something to help me while i”m having this nightmare.. I and my wife have been a customer of Tires Plus located at Southside Blvd and Touchton Rd. Jacksonville Fl. for over 15 years purchasing tires and having routine maintenance done over the years. Recently my wife picked up a nail in her rear tire and took it to this location to have the tire repaired and to have her tires rotated as we purchased the tires from this store. The person on duty told her that the tires were over 6 years old and it was against the law for him to touch the tires, (The tires have plenty of tread and are not rotting) . He informed her it was dangerous to drive on the tires and he sent her back out on the road with the nail still in the tire as he would not even change the tire with the spare. I took the tire to Tire Kingdom located across the street they pulled the nail out of the tire and put it back on with no charge and no lecture on old tires. Needless to say Tires Plus has lost our business.

I bought 4 ‘NEW’ Michelin Cross Terraine tires plus the ‘warranty’ for a total of $841.91 from Tires Plus June 2017. At the time I, like millions of others, was unaware that you can find out when the tire was actually made by looking at the DOT# on the tire wall which gives the week and year the tire was manufactured. The long and short of this story is that I was sold 2 tires that were already 3 years old, 2 tires there were one year in age at the same full price, and was told by ‘Howard’ in Jacksonville Florida (district manager) that they are allowed to sell tires up to 5 years old to consumers. The NHTSA recommends that tires be replaced that range in age of 6-10 years of age. So, you can buy tires that are already 5 years old and get only 1-5 years of actual wear if you go by the Highway Safety Administration’s guidelines. They additionally recommend that it also depends upon the make, model, mileage, etc. of the tire if you can expect to get as many as 10 years. Tires Plus will only offer you the difference between what the tread wear is and the actual mileage you have on the tires towards ‘new’ tires (whatever the age really is you would have to check again). And so basically they offer you nothing. My car’s tires had only 29K miles on them and yet the tires are 8 years old, the car is 7 years old, and I bought them 5 years ago. I asked Howard if he would (since he’s in the business and knows this information) if he would knowingly buy 3 or even the 5 year old tire and not only put them on his own car but also pay FULL price (like we the consumer is forced too). His only response was to state that he could say the same thing about what I do for a living (not knowing what my career is). And to that end, I am a Realtor and in no way have I ever met a buyer who goes into a transaction knowing how old the house is that expects to pay the same for a 3-5 year old house that they would pay for a house next door that was built in 2017! I hope that everyone reads this if for no other reason than to be aware of the age of a tire at the time you’re in the tire store so you can make a better decision as to whether you’re going to pay the same price for a 5 year old tire that’s been sitting around in a HOT warehouse or if you would rather be smarter and buy a truely NEW tire for the same price!

I bought four tires from them on 3/18/11 with road hazard warranty. the car has only about 12, 000 mi on it since and the tires were rated for 65, 000 . Also the tire was on the back of the vehicle which usually wear less .I got a flat on 2/8/12 and went there to get it replaced and they said it was worn beyond the warranty and made me pay for a new tire. what a bunch of B.S… This is just plain fraud and I will also be contacting the attorney generals office to see if I have any recourse with them

i called to make appointment to have tires rotated on 4 runner, because I bought 4 firestone tires from them. I asked after they finish can they fix tire on my murano sv the tire pressure light keeps coming on for. He tells me that they could not do both on same day, I thought was odd, neither were that big of a job. I had taken my murano to them and bought winter blizzack tires for murano and was told my yokohamos had one more summer season. After winter when they took blizzacks off murano and put back on my yokohamos the next day tire pressure light came on, and I had taken in to them several times to check pressure, it was back right passagener side, they refilled with air, however after couple days would come back on, so I call to have truck rotated and for them to fix whatever was wrong with tire. I assume it was a very slow leak, the tire never even looked low and was never flat. the murano went in first, he calls later to tell me that he can not fix due to thread that i need new tires, he mentioned he noticed i had an account there and apparently could see my accounts information, and seen I had zero balance and talked me into another set of tires. when they put these firestone 150 a tire on my car, i seen bill and the added charges for warranty and hazard, he never asked if I wanted to purchase, the tire came with a 60, 000 limited warranty already. once tires were on and i get into car, i noticed when starting my car all the arrows on dash, speed, gas, rpm, temp all move completely to the right and back to zero, wierd it has never done that, so i look at paperwork and notice they did “courosity battery check” without ever asking and knowing they are not my machinic, never had car serviced with them only tires, so i was going to call once i got home, i was traveling down hwy and once car reached 45 50 mph, it felt as if my front end was coming apart, extremely unsafe feeling, I called and pulled car off road, explained what car was doing and I just left from there, he said to bring back, I did, then they call to say its ready, I go in and he says mount came off and he rebalanced all four tires, ok I get back in and get to hwy and again, car doing the same thing, so I call back, however its nearing 5pm hour, they closed before I arrived back, I took in next morning, I go back in 2hours and he tells me its not the tires, it might be my engine or transmission, I said no way in hell, it wasn”t like that when I drove it in here, or ever, I had my machinic across the street call them, he had recently looked at my car and looked up a couple things, he could confirm there was nothing wrong with the engine or transmission. so I contacted him in tears after getting off the phone with tires plus corp. office filing a complaint in tears because they ruined my car and not taking the blame. I was told I would be called within 48hours and no one called me, my machinic called after tires plus just told me it wasn”t the tires they just sold me it was the car, they tell my machinic a different story, they say it was a couple tires and they going to order two more and fix first thing in morning, tire were on 3pm delivery truck, I didn”t get car until 420 next day, and still doing the same thing. I am sending these tires back tomorrow, I will not pay for them, I want my account credited, and I will never go into that company again ever. that tire pressure could of been a value, who knows, I had three guys plus tires plus guy tell me those tires had enough thread to make it to winter, they had my car four days, sold me 700 tires, third set from same store, and screwed my car up, and I am going to Nissan to find out exactly what happen. and damage done by them, they had no business going under the hood of my car. they say its a courtesy check, courtesy my butt, they should of asked, I have never had they service any of my vehicles only tires, therefor they should of ask first before ever going under my hood. sorry firestone, its not your tire but tires plus in Gardnerville that lost this sale and customer, who, there were severally, I will not be stepping into that building again, I will not buy these tires I will be returning them in morning and want a full credit and if Nissan says what they did caused what my car is doing, I will tell my attorney to start paperwork. unbelievable, this store, poor poor poor customer service, and they do not do it right the first time, every time I have gone in there, problem after problem and because of them.

I dropped off my van at Tires Plus in Warminster PA on Sunday, with an appointment for an inspection and oil change. They told me that the equipment for testing emissions was down, and so it might take longer than normal. I called at the end of the day, and they said the equipment was still down but it would be fixed first thing the next morning. Monday came and they called to tell me that the equipment was STILL not working and it would take until the end of the day. They finally got the inspection done, and told me I needed a full set of tires and a new brake light to pass inspection. I agreed to buy new tires but refused to pay the ridiculous price of $15 for a tail light, and $30 for the pair. I told them I would purchase and install the new tail light myself. So I went to pick up the van, immediately installed the new bulb, went back inside to get my inspection sticker, and they said, “Sorry, you need to make an appointment for a re-inspection for us to put on the sticker.” I was FURIOUS, after they held my van for two days and screwed up my whole schedule, now they are going to hold me up ever more for an appointment to check a single light bulb? I argued with them and finally got them to agree to look at the van as soon as they were done the car they were currently working on. I asked how long would that be, and the woman behind the counter said “I don’t know, however long it takes.” I said “why don’t you just ask the technician?” She said, “It’s not good to interrupt the technicians when they are working on a car, because it will delay that persons service.” So wait a minute, its okay to delay MY car for two days, but you can’t stop working on someone else’s car for 15 seconds to look out the window and see that the brake light is fixed? I said, “I’ve bought four sets of tires here, and I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but I will never buy anything from here again.

I got a engine diagnostics and they fixed what was wrong and my light came right back on with the same problems I had before they fixed it. My car had a misfire in the engine &I they fixed it and it”s misfiring again if they did a diagnostics they should know what”s all wrong and should”ve fixed it like they said they did. I had a new AC sysytem installed on my 2002 Chevy S-10 for the sum of $806.00. Two weeks after the install I returned to the Tires Plus center with concerns of a loud knocking noise. I was told that it was not my (New) compressor, it was my belt tensioner. This visit was not doccumented by means of a work order, they simply came out to the parking lot, opended my hood and and made the diagnosis. I returned to Tires Plus a year later to have a front tire replaced and asked to have the “Knocking” noise looked at again. This time it was doccumented. Again, I was told it was the tensioner. Well time has past (2.5 years) and my AC finally quit again. The knocking noise is much louder now. After to returning to Tires Plus today I was told it would be $120.00 to diagnose (not to fix) my AC sytem. The mechanic said that the knocking noise is coming from the compressor. Since I waited “So Long” to have it looked at, they could not warranty the part. In hindsight… the “New” compressor was bad from the start. Sure the compressor was working (cooling), but it was just a matter of time before it failed completely. I think they new all along that the compressor could have been bad and they just put me off and put me off and now that it has failed. It has been too long to warrant a warranty. Bottom Line. I had an alternator put on my son’s car in May. In June, it stopped working again, so they did replace it. Well it stopped working again in July and they refuse to make it good. I paid $350 for this work and I am so pissed I don’t know what to do. I don’t have the money to go pay someone else to do the same work that Tires Plus did such a crappy job on. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get them to make this right. I would appreciate any help anyone could give.

I had my tire changed because I had a bolt in it I look at it and my rim is damaged in three spots they”re very dirty tires and rims but they function and I have 3 other ones without a blemish or scratch. To have Jose tell me that this was curb damage is Ludacris I”ve never brought a tire in for road hazard that needed sidewall damage repair this is the only one it looks like the wait was taken off and somebody bent my rim in two places and scratched it somehow with the machine and three other places

I had to get my car towed from the highway for over heating. Closest place was Tires Plus. I told them them the problem appeared to from a leaky radiator. They confirmed that was the problem and gave me an estimate of $700.00, $400.00 for radiator installed plus $150.00 to flush system and $150.00 to replace a $6.00 thermostat. While I was waiting I was calling around for comps and prices ranged from $250.00 to $450.00, The $450.00 estimate happened to be another Tires Plus. When I told them I couldn”t go for the price and was going to take my truck elsewhere they demanded $74.00 for the estimate, when I objected to the charge they proceeded to remove my valve stem on all four tire and removed the air, leaving me stranded. I had to call the police to get things shorted out and paid there estimate charge. They tried to royally screw me. Never ever take your car to the Tires Plus.

I purchased 2 tires from Tires Plus. A week later, on my way home, one of the tires exploded. Fortunately, I was only going 15 miles/hr when the event occured. This could have happened someplace more dangerous such as on the highway so I am glad that it did not. However, when I contacted Tires Plus about the incident, they told me that they would tow my car at MY expense and check out the tire. Then they told me that it was my fault that the tire exploded because I must have hit a curb or something. I know that I did not hit anything. The tire was just poor quality. I demanded a refund, but they refused to give it to me. They said that I should have purchased their “tire insurance” Something that was never offered to me in the first place. I filed a complaint with the BBB. A manager replied back to the BBB stated that the tire that exploded was not one that I purchased from Tires Plus. That was a total lie, and I still had the tire as proof. The matter remains unresolved, but I just wanted to get the word out that if you got to Tires Plus, you could be spending over $100 on a tire, that you will have to replace in a week.

I purchased 4 new tires for my 2005 Cadillac STS some months ago. Their are two different tire sizes that are required i.e different sizes for front and rear. At the time I also purchased the road hazard package which includes rotation, balance, etc. in addition to lifetime alignment. Every 5k miles I brought the vehicle in for an oil change with the instruction to check the alignment; never assuming that I also had to instruct the technician to balance the tires. After approx. 20k miles on the new tires I began to hear significant road noise. I took the car in to the local Tires Plus store and discovered the front tires were beginning to “cup”. I asked to have the alignment checked and inquired as to whether they had been balancing the tires previously. I was told no because I hadn’t given those instructions. My reply was that I never left instructions to “up-sell” me on other services but the store management hadn’t been reluctant to do so. It seems to me that your store would maintain a history and perform a simple tire balance as a routine part of alignments and tire checks. As a result of this exchange I decided to seek replacement tires elsewhere and discovered that the Tires Plus technicians had originally installed the tires I purchased incorrectly. That is, they installed the larger size tires on the front and smaller on the back…opposite to the manufacturer’s specifications. I have returned for oil changes and alignment five subsequent times and the mix up with the tires was never noticed. After I brought this to the attention of the store manager, he offered to replace the two tires that were ruined. That promise was made three weeks ago and I still have not received any new tires. Even if I get the new tires, I’ll have one new set and one set that will need replacing in a few thousand miles. In addition to the tire fiasco, I’ve been advised to have replacement parts installed that when I checked with other auto technicians, discovered were not needed. Regardless of how your company handles my tire problem, you have soured a previously good customer. Your store’s reputation is suspect in my view and I will not hesitate to inform others of my feelings

I purchased a set of tires for my Honda CRV and have driven the car approximately 13, 000 miles – and one of the tires had a nail – and went flat and was driven a short distance (few hundred feet). The Tires Plus on S. Virginia (near S. Meadows) service representative said that the tires were in great shape; but that, it was company policy that, even though the tire is repairable, their shop would NOT remove the nail and repair the tire, because the inside of the tire was worn from when it was driven flat. He said that the manager Alan would fire him if he violated company policy and repaired the tire. The manager was not in the Tires Plus Store – he was out for the day. I even offered to purchase one tire – and he said that it was company policy that he could NOT replace only one time and that he could be fired for violating company policy. I drove my Honda to Les Schwab where the nail was removed and the tire was repaired for free. I have been a loyal Tires Plus customer until this event – and the obvious “must sale 4 tires” approach to customers – even though these tires have less than 13, 000 miles and are in great shape. Very disappointing and unethical management.

I recently visited my local tires plus for and oil change and tire rotation. They finished the work in 45 min. Not the slowest ive ever seen but not the fastest either. Then on my way home to winona my tire falls off the car, driving the car on the rotor for a few hundred feet. When I get back to the shop they inform me that they cannot do anything and that they are not responsible. I do not understand, they were the last to take my tires off, why are they not cooperating. They are not going to hear the end of this.

I see a trend in the complaints. I bought tires at the Gwinnett, Georgia store. I was quoted one price and when the work was finished the price went up (no product or work change). When I arrived I was then asked to give an immediate deposit so that they could go get the tires. No inventory may mean they are financially unstable. I also experienced the advice that additional work was needed (rather costly work) only to find by second opinion that it was not needed. This is not a business you can trust or rely on at all.

He suggested to me that my car had various issues and required service. The purpose of this complaint is because after completion of the service about a week later or so, my air conditioner broke down and my air conditioner was included in that service. I am frustrated and have lost confidence in taking back my car due to the fact that he had personally guaranteed work performed on my car to my fullest satisfaction, which was already over my budget. Therefore, I am requesting that the total of the following that is related to my air conditioner plus labor be reimbursed to me ASAP. I took my car in for a oil change, and they said I needed new radiator hoses, coolant flush, new tires, transmission flush, thermostat. They said the transmission fluid was so bad they didn’t know if they should do it but they would. I had them fix the hoses and coolant flush. Now a year later I had to shell out another $500.00 to have this fixed because they never fixed the problem. When I called corporate office they got me the district manager and basically he said not there problem because I didn’t take it back there and it only has a warranty of 12, 000 miles and I was at 13, 000. When I took my car to a transmission place and had it checked out, they said they don’t know what tires plus was talking about that my car was fine. I also had to get new tires that day because my 50, 000 mile tires only made it to 19, 000. I asked tires plus how can this be, they told me I must be a hard driver. If i was to call the tire company I could do that. So I did they said they would be happy to replace the tires if I would just go back and have tires plus send in one of the tires. When I went back to tires plus they said they would not do that. I addresses all these issues with the corporate office, they did not care he was so busy trying not to take the blame rather having concern on what tires plus was trying to do to people. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I took my rim/tire in to get the tire replaced due to pothole damage to the tire. This was on a sunday so they couldn”t do anything until monday. They told me the price of the tire was $235. There was a 3 day delay which was my fault in not following the road hazard warranty process. After that, I picked up the rim/tire and they had 3 new scratches in my 8 day old rim (now sat, 6 days later)! They didn”t even argue with me about the scratches and said they”d replace the rim. I gave them the receipt from tirerack and waited 5 days. Now, it”s been 11 days. I stopped by and they told me they sent the rim to wheel tech in omaha to get refinished. I had no problem with that and they told me it would be done by the end of the week. 3 days later (friday, 12 days into this process), they said it was on a truck getting sent to tires plus and they would locate it and call me back. Nothing. I was upset and gave them a few more days. Tues, I called them and they said that wheel tech lost it (now 16 days)! They were going to buy a new rim from tirerack and bill wheel tech. Saturday (now 20 days), I went to tires plus. They had the original rim/tire back with a new rim in a box that I could have for free (what will I do with that???). I got the rim/tire home to install it and found that the original rim was still scratched and the tire pressure was at 24psi. The right thing to do was at least put the new tire on the new rim! And… The price for the tire went from $235 to $275. With $35 to mount/balance. So now i”m over $75 out of pocket because the road hazard warranty will only cover the original price of the tire. I just don”t want anything to do with that place any more. I know… I should go back and have them make it right but I really don”t want anything to do with them. Stay away!!!

I took my SUV to this location to have 4 new tires put on. I paid to have all four wheels balanced and a alighment. When I headed out to the expressway I noticed that the front wheels were shaking and this persisted. When I called I was assured that the wheels had been balanced and front end aligned and that the skaking had nothing to do with this. I took it back and they kept the car for a full day. They re balanced the tires. I left and the same condition existed. I took the vehical into the dealership where I had originally purchased the SUV and they examined the vehical. The first thing they pointed out the no one had balanced the tires as the weights were more than two years or older. The dealership did a new balance and the problem was fixed. I contacted Tires Plus and the instantly offered to refund my balance expense at the dealership. As I have come to find out that this is standard operating procedure at Tires Plus that they bill you for services that are not performed. Shame on them and I hope by reading this that shop elswhere.

I took my Wife”s Saturn Aura XE 08 with 50460 miles for tires rotated and balanced on 10/27/17. On November 3 coming back from shopping my wife told something was wrong with her car. That she didn”t know if she would make it home . The car didn”t want to idle. There was a trouble code P0171 mass air flow sensor. When I found that someone at Michel Tire slid the hose clamp half way down the hose and the hose was disconnected. There is no way the clamp moved by itself.
