I had given Today Til I Do (Ashley Morrison) 250$ for a deposit early in the year 2014, for my wedding that was supposed to happen Sept 13/2014. After much discussion about her Contract, and I had refused it twice, I decided to not accept her terms and cancel her services a little over a month before the wedding date. The issues I had with her contract are as follows. She wanted to be able to take pictures at my wedding and use them for her companies advertising, which I did not approve. She fought tooth and nail to be able to use my special day as promotion for her company. After much back and fourth, she agreed to have the contract rewritten. Also she had a clause in there that in a nutshell says that if she does not provide what I had asked for on my wedding date, that any replacement she could provide would have to be accepted. I also wanted this removed, naturally. She had also included a clause about her travel expenses, and that I would have to pay any and all travel expenses incurred by her, which I also asked removed from the contract. Once she sent me the rewritten contract, the first two issues i mentioned were not removed, they were simply reworded but retianed the same meaning. The travel clause had a line through it but was still readable. at this point I cancelled her services and she quickly hung up the phone on me. she then proceeded to text message my wife who has been friends with her since she was 5 years old, and pestered her about it for quite sometime, then she ended her friendship with my wife. I have been trying to recover my funds and have been told by ashley via email that i should contact my lawyer. Please people save yourself the time and money, go with someone else, this company is no good, and I have heard many other complaint from people about them as well. I hope other people will step forward with their stories of messed up cakes, raw cakes, lateness, complete no show on wedding day and many many other stories I have heard. Ashley started using the word “Slander” when I posted the quality of service and results I obtained from dealing with her on facebook. Do not let this fool you, everything I said is true and proveable. please google the definition of “Slander” “Libel” and “fair comment” and i am sure you will agree that what I am saying is “Fair Comment” Thank you and have a good day 🙂
