Joel Troy is the owner and occupier of xxx ashwood Court, Southampton, NY When Joel needed his apartment above his garage rented, a broker from Douglas Elliman Real Estate procured a tenant and was then ripped-off from his due commission by Mr. Troy In a line of work that relys on commission based pay and salery, it is vital agents/brokers collect on every deal they procure, because of the amount of hours spent working for “free” leading up to a closing or signing of a lease. It is completely unacceptable to ignore brokerages commission statements and letters to collect such fees (10% commission) which does not amount to a lot of money overall, consider how many hours are put into procuring such rentals and home sales. .
