My friends and I were spending our short term office break after few ideas getting canceled I tried doing something this vacation. I suggested to my friends about rafting. We were all adventurous and none of them denied to join me for the same. After a lot of research and phone calls, we selected Triad River Tours. Believe me or not, my friends still curse me for suggesting this horrible rafting company, it was not my fault at all as I didn’t know it was a total waste of money and time for us.
After checking out the Triad River tours and their attractive discount of 25% we decided to have an intermediate trip around Seattle. We fixed our trip for the next morning at 8:00 am sharp over a phone call. We were perfectly on time but we were shocked to see the company gates shut down. I immediately phoned the manager and he didn’t pick up the call at first. We waited for another 15 minutes and I called him up again, this time finally he picked up the call and informed us that the company would remain closed today because of some personal issues. Our trip was postponed to the next day. We were very much brought off after hearing this as we traveled an hour to reach the destination but it was a total disappointment as the manager didn’t even bother to inform their customers about the reason for being shut down.
We arrived at the place the next morning and took a sigh because today it wasn’t close. My friends and I went inside and did the paperwork, we were requested to pay the wholesome money before our trip began. We had no other option so we paid them the money and proceeded with our trip. Our guide master was a professional so we were kind of excited. Our excitement was soon killed when we saw the condition of our boat, we were scared to step on it now, rags were old and we were not even provided with a helmet, our safety jackets were torn out. I would have given a zero-star to the management of the company. Nothing was right, the raft was old and creaking as soon as we stepped onto it. The guide I thought was a good person regarding his behavior but he turned out to be such an angry person and always ended up scolding us throughout the trip. We were beginners but he didn’t treat us the same way, he left no chance mocking us for our mistakes and taunted us every time. I was very much disappointed and we had no fun nor any kind of adventure throughout the whole trip. I would rather have spent the morning at home playing games then wasting my money on this useless trip having no fun at all. I still suggest you choose another rafting tour and travels other than the Triad River Tours.
