I love the performance of the “flexable hose”. It does all the things the tv ad proclaims. Unfortunately it lasted only a few weeks before it busted. I wasn’t going to order another until I got an email saying that for an additional $10 I could buy the heavy duty version. I fell for it and lost another $50.00. What’s really aggravating is that if I had bought the same product at Walmart I could have returned it for a refund or exchange for a year. This company only offers a 60 day warranty. Since I bought the hoses in October I hardly used them until recently when they only lasted 3 weeks. This is a perfect example of why not to buy things on the internet.

10/14/2018 I received the oven as a gift for Christmas last year, we really love it but after using just 20 times it over heats and shuts off. When I called customer service they said they were sorry but it was out of warranty. A 60 day limited warranty is not long enough, your products need at least a year for people to find out if the product last, to say the least if it is worth the money. When I asked him if I could buy just the oven, as I have all the pieces that came with it & do not need double of it all, he said he was sorry but if I wanted another oven I have to buy the complete set. I am not very happy right now, unless something is done, I will never buy another Tristar product again, I really don”t like leaving negative feedback or bad talk a product but I will if neccessary. I read some of your feedback from other customers and I really don”t know how you stay in business.

A husband and wife tag team, dealer #4842, said they had to make one more presentation before going home that night…(it was 4:45 p.m. I had just opened the door and took off my coat from being at a funeral of a sister-in-law) they offered me a free Airwick dispenser (with no oil for it) for letting them present their product..it didn”t …dumb me, I let them inside my home. They talked and demonstrated for 1 hr. 45 min. I kept saying their product was too much money and I didn”t want to purchase; they had an answer for every no I made…with a bag full of offers and all equaling to about the same monies spent in the end…to get them to leave, I said I would take the product. They wanted to take my old vacuum but I wouldn”t let them…thank goodness I insisted on that “NO”. They wrote up their contract, I signed and also referenced I might cancel it before the 3-day clause expired. Of course you have to pay down something…I paid $89.95 for sales tax of the contract products. They were selling in conjunction the vacuum product and an also very expensive air filter system. Both can be purchased for about $550 plus tax…I checked. My sales tax check was cashed the next day…I couldn”t stop payment. I called their office, left a phone message I was cancelling the contract and sent a written letter to their office, notarized with date, the same day…day 2 of my buyer remorse clause Their contract says if it is cancelled your contract within the 3-day time frame, any monies paid out will be returned within 10 business days. It has now been 25 days and still no refund. I even sent them a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return monies. They are not honest dealers…just fast talkers with a “hurry up and get it done today” attitude to get you to buy their products. I would not purchase from them. They were quick to take my check and have no remorse or conscience in doing the right thing in returning my money. My education has now been increased and cost me $89.95. I could get it back but it will cost me more to do so. I have chosen to notify the general public of their tactics instead. If I want a Tristar vacuum, it will more than likely be purchased online. I have phoned these dealers two other times requesting my refund but they won”t return my calls. ..and thus far, no money. I have also made a complaint to their Dealer Finance Company and was told they would contact their dealer and get back with me before 3 hrs…I”m still waiting for that call, too. I”m sure they”re working on how to prevent people like me from challenging them. This whole setup appears to be scamming and door-to-door snake oil salesmanship. I thought I was sharper than that..I guess my defenses were down that day. I hope others read this and make themselves aware of the audacity of these people groomed to PUSH and BROW beat to sell these products. Oh by the way, I vacuumed the same area of rug they used for their demo and it is still giving me lint and dust…go figure…their vacuum was supposed to work magic. dah. You can never clean enough. No product will ever eliminate dirt, dust and lint to be worth the amount of money suggested by these dealers. Be smart, close the door.

Beware of Jack LaLannes Power Juicer scam on TV by Tristar Products Inc as they will scam you as they did me. They show and price a Classic Model PJ at a price of two easy payments of $49.90 each and an exorbitant S&H of $44.96. When the package arrives you discover that they have invoiced a Deluxe PJ and billed your credit card in the amount of $105.85 with a balance due of $59.95 as the 2nd payment. This amounts to hidden extortion. ($49.90 + $44.96 does not equal $105.85. They say that ‘Deluxe’ doesn’t mean the Deluxe PJ when they ship out a Classic PJ model. If you pay the balance due and complain you can send it back for the same S&H. That amounts to being overcharged $18.99 plus 2-1/2 times the normal UPS charge for shipping. There are several other sites that only charge $14.95 for shipping. I’ve learned my lesson and will teach others to never buy anything from a TV Infomercial, especially Tristar Products Inc. My brother is a ghost writer for a popular magazine and he will help me spread the word. Always check the Internet before buying anything lest you get ripped off like I did!

Bought a Montel Williams Healthmaster blender June 2009. Paid extra to get heavy duty motor. It worked until October and then the engine stopped. The reset key did not work. I was told I would get a replacement due to lifetime warranty. almost 6 months later still waiting to get a response. When I call them I get “transfered” to someone, I then get “cut off”! 8 times this has happened. I have received two cards in snail mail from Tristar saying that there is a delay. REALLY? Be warned! Don’t purchase anything from these people and don’t purchase this product. it is NOT worth the money.

Bought air fryer to be delivered to my daughter in Illinois. Product delivered to my home in Wisconsin. We don’t drive and this was intended for xmas gift. Talked to your people and they indicated it would be up to me for delivery. In further conversation we also order I air fryer for my son who resides in Illinois. They started arguing that they could not get money out of account. This is crock and I on line every morning checking my account as I watch this every since we got hit. There was no payment tried to take out. This account is kept with funds. This person now says that attempt will be tried for the 20th of this month and if do funds the order will be with drawn .I not only felt insulted but this is crock and if I could would be glad to stop dealing with you. I am going go post face book, amazon and anyone else I can thank of. This is the dumbest people I have ever talked too.

Dealers #4842, husband and wife, TRISTAR Vacuum Products DO NOT honor their end of their own contract when it is cancelled. I paid $89.95 down payment 11/10/11, submitted a notarized cancellation 11/12/11 and am still waiting for my refund. Their contract states 10 business days to refund…what kind of calendar do they use? DO NOT let these people show you any product. Get one from online for a tenth of the cost of what they ask. They do not have any remorse for their behavior and will stall as they have with me at every turn. I have been told three times they were going to be at my house to return in person my refund…I”M STILL WAITING. It has been nearly two (2) months since this cancellation. SLAM THE DOOR IF THEY APPEAR ON YOUR PORCH. TRISTAR VACUUM is getting a bad reputation through their selling techniques. I will tell everyone I can NOT to purchase through a salesperson representing this company.

Do not believe anything they tell you or let them into their home. I was told that I would receive a new “home cleaning system” if I let them give us a demonstration and provide them with my opinion of their product. They told me that they were not a sales company that they are a marketing company. It was the biggest waste of two hours of my life. I got nothing for free!!! They did give me a vacation voucher but you have to send the travel company 50 dollars to register for the “free” getaway. Our sales girl was very nice and we advised her to get out of the business. She was too nice of a person to be involved in such a sham act. I guess some things never change. Remember what your Mom always told you, “Nothing in life is for free”. I wish I had!!! THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH!

Hi. I purchased the PPPC at a Walmart in Houston, TX. The non-stick pot burns my food and food sticks to the bottom (see photos). Also, the nonstick bottom is discolored. Feb 2020 is the latest incident. I would like to be compensated for an upgraded version since this model is discontinued. Please send an email address for attachments. Thank you.

I am 20 years old and I was hired by this company as a salesman. I was told I would earn about 9.00 an hour while in training and 220 dollars if I made a sale. I made a sale and, was told that I was manager material and promoted to have my own team. i was told we would be paid weekly. I received one check from them for 25.00! After working for them for about a month! I was told they dont pay for training and that the sale I made for a 2800.00 vacuum my commission was 25.00! I was never trained as a manager because the head trainers “grandmother was sick” and there was “too much road construction”. If you think you got ripped off buying one, I can tell you I got ripped off worse for working for them. all of employees had to call the Salt Lake city police to even get a 25.00 check! i am filing a Lbor commission complaint! This company is a scam all the way around!

I bought a groupon online for a company that advertised itself as “Better Air Concepts”. The job was to come in and clean the vents through out my house nothing else I wanted. This past Monday 5th of January they came into my home two people named Greg and Carl. They came in to see how many vents I had in my house. One of them proceeded to start cleaning the vents upstairs the other one was asking for my permission to swab the coil in the return receiver of the AC then he mixed that with some dust from the grill cover. After 5 minutes he told me that I had mold and that they needed to report the findings to the state. He then proceeded to scare me even more by telling me that I would need to change my whole duct system and that it would cost me around $20, 000.00 Then he told me there was a cheaper solution available called “Platinum Air Purification System” for $3, 000.00 and the owner named Chris had instructed them to give me for free the Tristar vacuum. Then I was showed what the vacuum could do which impress me but all was a sales and scare tactic into inducing the prospective client me into buying it through credit. When they left this morning I went thru the contract and to my amazement what I was really buying was the vacuum for $3, 000.00 I was livid, angry and upset that was taken for a fool. I called the owner of the company named Chris at 12:10 pm today he gave me the run around that his people were very busy and he had no time frame for them to pick up the items. I told him listen I am telling you that I want that contract canceled and I am not responsible monetarily speaking to you. He said he would call me later in the afternoon. While this was going on I sent an email to Bay News 9 and told what had happened. I have also filed a complaint with the better business bureau against him and his company. I have also sent him several emails with the “CANCEL CONTRACT” several times using different emails that I have. I have also contacted groupon and let them know what had happened. I am the mercy of this person since he hasn”t given me a set date to pick up his items. The state of Florida gives you three days to cancel on a contract which I did. Also the company financing these $3, 000.00 called Foundation Finance had called me to verify my purchase and I told a lady called Rachel in the credit department that I had called the owner of the company and told him to cancel the contract. I asked the lady if I was liable and she told me not to worry that they were not going forward with the approval of the purchase because I had canceled the contract with the owner. I am hoping that everything I have done will put a stop to all of this. If not I need someone to help me. I just need to let others know not to fall this kind of sales pressure and to tell those people that it isn”t right what they are doing. Carmen Lopez

I bought a Tristar Blender for $73.99 with a one year warranty. After two months of owning the product, the blender started smoking when I tried to use it and stopped working. I notified Tristar and they told me the blender had been discontinued. They wanted me to ship them the blender (I was responsible for shipping costs) along with a check for about $15 and they would send me a juicer. I didn’t need a juicer, I needed a blender that didn’t break after two months. Not only was this a bad product, but the company clearly doesn’t stand by their product or warranty. After going back and forth with the company, I finally filed a BBB complaint. I explained the entire situation and they again said I could ship the product back to them along with a check and they would send me a juicer. Unacceptable. I would never purchase a Tristar product again and would discourage anyone else from purchasing one of their products.

I called in for a KFC certificate, i talked to some young lady she didn”t speak very professionally. She said in order to receive my certificate i had to listen to a presentation on the Tristar and give her my opinion. I agreed to the presentation and i had set everything off just to be there in time and they didn”t show up. So the next day i called and asked what had happened and they said the dealer had an accident and couldn”t” make it out there. So i rescheduled with them and they stood me up again and again. They do false advertisement and they should not be able to sale any vacuum. I was very unpleased with the whole thing.

I do not understand why I am still seeing this item being sold. I was going to purchase it and had a family member buy it as a gift so I could get my health in order. Montel Endorsing item was a big plus for me and so I said yes instead of jack Lalane juicer.. used a little over a year with issues of having to keep hitting reset to get it going. when I finally went to use it last nothing. just was dead. Tristar was no help. they just kept telling me product was discontinued.. if it says lifetime warranty that does mean lifetime.. not while there is no issues. I am really upset they are not taking care of there customers. This was a gift but I have model number ect. surely you know which items took a dump.. Tristar never asked any info they could not get me off the phone fast enough. same thing item discontinued.. no other response. best to hang up when you are really mad and have only one response to what do I do with my juicer ? now I have to go buy another juicer and my family spent over 200$ just a year ago on this one ?? not including shipping. I think it was close to 300$

I got a phone call for a “survey” about allergies. A few days later, they called me again, telling me I had won a prize. They asked if I would be home to accept it, and that they would show me a little pig as well. I didn’t know what that was but it sounded fun. When they got there, they gave me this presentation on their vacuume cleaner. I wasn’t expected to be getting a sales visit, and they guy kept “forgetting” about my prize. I was impressed by the vacuum and decided to get it. Well, the next night, I realized paying 2, 500 dollars for a vacuum cleaner was a little rediculous, so I called the guy back asking for him to come get it. He then told me that he couldn’t take it back and that I had to call the phone number on the form. I called the phone number the next day and the lady on the phone said I had to mail back in the cancellation, and was extremely rude to me about it, saying “you’re not supposed to call us!” really snotty like. I was appalled by the lousy customer service. What’s worse, is that you have only 3 days to cancel, and you have to mail it in. That isn’t nearly enought time to MAIL in a cancellation notice. In reality, you have 24 hours to change your mind and then run like hell to the postal office to mail in the cancellation OVERNIGHT. Hopefully they will get it by Monday, which is the final day to cancel, but I have a feeling they will tell me that they didn’t get it in time or have some sort of excuse not to honor my cancellation. They should at least take cancellations over the phone since you have so little time to change your mind. If they don’t honor my cancellation, I am going to a lawyer, their tactics are really sneaky. I should have realized it before I got the vacuum.

I got a set of copper chef pans for Christmas, and I was not aware that the handles on the pans can cause sever burns, I did get severely burned off of the handle of the fry pan. I’m very careful to use the correct size burner. I couldn’t find any place on the box or recipe book about a warning of how hot the handles get. My daughter called me and asked if I had ever been burned from those handles I said yes, she has the same set I have and she has also been burned. Something needs to be done about this…i’m scared to continue to use my pans and want a full refund. It is a set of 11″ fry pan, 10″ dutch oven, 10″ round pan, 8″ sauce pan

I have my phone registered with the do not call registry. Despite this, I received a call from Nickie, at Tristar Industires. She said if I sat through a 10 minture prespresentation, I wouild receive a 250 dollar gas card. This was a total lie. I received a card, that makes you jump through so many hoops, its worthless. The guy came over and stayed well over an hour. I finally kicked him out. He was trying to sell me a 2600 dolllar vacuum. What a joke.

I in April a guys stopped by to give us a 3 hour pitch telling us my house was a mess and it is not telling me that my current vac. I just bought was not good well it cleaned better than this crappy thing. They said you won a trip anywhere but had to come up with the money that is bull and then found out after the fact I had to put 350 down payment and then found out after the fact it”s a 4, 000.00 vac. OMG what a joke I don”t have the money and told them I can”t pay this and they were mean and threatened me which I reported to the police and also called my lawyer they took my new vac. and I cannot use this crappy thing hall a stupid cansiter around with a 12 ft hose I hate this thing and wouldn”t tell anyone to get it. I am stuck witht his crappy thing that half the time don”t work and I hate to vac now where before I loved it. I have asked to come get it give me a refund and all they did was tell me I can”t and wouldn”t even listen I am in a hard ship and can”t pay it they just threatened to come take care of this problem and me that night no problem resolved and I am going to have to go buy a vac. that works and not every part you can think if. IF I don”t get a refund of 350.00 and also get my name of the contract my lawyer said he will take it further. You guys should not be scamming people telling them it”s the best in the state and our house is a mess MY HOUSE IS VERY CLEAN AND NEVER HAD COMPLAINTS . I WANT THIS RETURNED AND MONEY BACK. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS KIND OF UNIT AGAIN. PEOPLE THIS WILL GIVE ME BAD CREDIT WHICH IS NOT FAIR TO ME AND THREATENING ME IS A CAUSE FOR THE LAW TO GET INVLOVED.

I just read all of these complaints and I did get a good laugh…The word vacuum is spelled with one c and two u’s whoever posted the word spelling it “vaccum and vacccum”. If you don’t want to purchase the unit or sit through a demonstration, don’t invite them in. I’m sure they don’t twist your arm to make you let them in. The distributors are independent, so they do business how they please. They do not work for TriStar Enterprises.. They take the TriStar product and sell it. I mean if you purchased a Sony tv from Wal-Mart, you wouldn’t call and complain to Sony (the manufacturer) about how the sell went or how the person who sold you the tv treated you, or if you wanted to return the tv, you wouldn’t call Sony.. You would call Wal-Mart. Also if you do purchase a unit, don’t call a year later wanting to return it because you can’t pay the bill. You have a 3 day period provided by the government to return the product (in most states). Not all of the distributors are as bad as you think they are. There are some good distributors out there who run there business honestly. And the TriStar unit is a good product!!!

I operate a business next to my house. One day a few weeks ago a guy came by and said he was thinking of doing business in the area, he sold air purifiers, wanted to meet some people, see if his product would do well here. (I’m already skeptical). He hands me a raffle card to fill out for $500 free gas as the grand prize. I did. He asked me a little about my business and left. One week later I received a phone call from this company telling me I had won a drawing and I could choose between two prizes, a cutlery set or a free trip. (more skeptical) Figuring the trip was bogus I picked the free cutlery just to see what would happen. They asked if I would be home tomorrow and I said yes, I’d be working next door, they asked if I would participate in a survey about their product, I said sure. No one came. Three days later I received a call to ‘follow-up’ on the survey and they were shocked that no one came out. They showed up two days later to deliver my free trip brochure. I told them that I asked for the cutlery and nothing was said. They asked when my husband would be home to participate in the survey. I told them not until later that evening but he would not participate anyway, if they had something to demonstrate, do it now. They would not demonstrate the vacuum-air purifier in my business, had to be my home. They came back at 6:00 that night and handed me a free vacation brochure (still no knives) and carried in a huge box and started assembling the vacuum cleaner. I told them I was not going to buy one but it didn’t matter. I told them I chose the cutlery and it was never discussed again. During the demonstration, which lasted 1 1-2 hours, he asked me how much I thought it cost and if I came within 50$ of the price I would win another prize. I guessed 1700$ and he marveled at my guess and said it was 1679$. I never saw my free gift. He explained to me how the price started at 2500$ and the sale price brought it down to under 1700$, if I bought it today he would knock off another 400$ and wrote down several easy payments for me to choose from. I declined all of them. Then he has the nerve to ask me WHY I wouldn’t buy one, was business not going well, was my husband working, etc. Rude. I told him that I could not justify buying a vacuum cleaner for that amount of money. I found out later that the ‘free’ trip was also a scam and I would have to listen to another sales pitch once I got there and had to put up 50$ of my own money first. There were two people in the car they drove, one person came in and the other left. He had to use my cellphone to call his ‘ride’ to pick him up and we waited another 20 minutes after the sales pitch for him-her to arrive. I am hoping that someone from the company calls to follow up on their visit to see if I changed my mind about buying the vacuum so I can tell them all this. The cutlery set is just a lie I guess, they figure who in their right mind would choose knives over a free three day vacation. It was 1 1-2 hour of my life that I will never get back. Bogus, bogus, bogus.

I ordered the Air Climber from Tristar Products Inc. which is based in Fairfield, NJ. I know this because I had done a research on the company. But the mistake I made was that I did all this after I was fooled by them. Their product the Air Climber is a total waste of money. It gets you nothing. I ordered it, paid for it through my credit card and was charged the very same day. Well they did not deliver the product on time though. They are punctual when they have to take money but when they have to deliver service it s horrible. This product of there is worthless. I tried it for around 3 months and have not seen any changes. Not even a slight change in my weight, it is totally useless. They advertise it very well but I should have understood that they are good at false advertising. I don’t understand how I could believe in these crooks. Their product is nothing but a joke. They talk about so many things about results you will get after using the “Air Climber”. Well, I saw none of those. Don’t get fooled by these fools!

I purchased an Power Smokeless Grill XL, and I’m having problems with it. When It is cut on, it will run about 25-30 minutes. But after that, it will cut off. After it cuts off, I’ll have to readjust the grill and continue to press the on button until it comes back on. But later on it will cut off again. I’m running out of patience with it. Is there anything that can be done about this? I talked to several of the people at the customer service number [protected]) and I was told to send in this conformation number for proof of my last payment that was made. A man at this number said that this was all that we needed: 61395. He wouldn’t give his name or ID. number but said to give this number as our proof. If at all possible, I would love to return this one, and have another one sent to me. Please contact me at [protected], sometimes I’m not able to get to my computer, or the internet is running too slow or down because of the area that I’m in. Thank you, waiting to hear from you soon, Mr. and Mrs. Benston

I purchased the Joan River Great Hair Day powder and the color sent is way off what the customer service operator told me it would be. I wanted the light blond, and was told not to do that – that the “blonde” would work, and the light blond was more for grey hair. Well, not sure who decided on the color labeling, but the “blonde” is about as dark as you can get – not quite black, but certainly no where near a blond, dark blond, or even light brown, medium brown color. Subsequently, i have tried to change the order – just the color, but I can’t get through to anyone – tried for days. There are prompts, but no option for a live customer service rep. I decided then to just cancel the entire order and that is IMPOSSIBLE – if you hit the option to cancel, you NEVER get an operator to help. They hold you hostage! I will NEVER purchase from Tristar again.

I rec”d a phone call telling me I won a $1,000 dollar shopping spree, and to receive it, I would have to listen to a sales-pitch on TriStar Vacuum cleaners. They told me I didn”t have to buy anything, just listen to the presentation for 30 minutes, receive my shopping spree card and they”d be out of my hair. The salesman showed up, showed his presentation, which took about 45 minutes, and then asked if we were impressed with the demonstration. I was impressed, but I also knew that it had to be unaffordable for us. He told us the vacuum would cost $2,800 dollars, but because we let him into our home and listened to his presentation, he”d cut us a deal for 1800.00. What! A thousand dollar discount just like that? Ok, at that point, I knew it had to be a scam. I filled out his 10 question survey, and told him flat out that we couldn”t afford it at this time, but maybe in the future we”d go to the internet site and check it out. He wouldn”t give us a card or brochure-said he didn”t have any. He didn”t want to hear us when we told him we weren”t interested. He started being incredibly rude by saying, “Well, if you want to continue to live in filth, then you go right ahead… this is an unhealthy environment, but if you want to live that way…” For one thing, my house gets cleaned everyday. I have had many people, including real estate agents compliment on how clean my house is. I didn”t appreciate being told my home was filthy and unhealthy because I didn”t want to spend $1800 on a vacuum cleaner-especially from someone who couldn”t even produce a brochure or business card. He proceeded to say how filthy my home was and finally left. It took everything I had not to throw him out physically. I bit my tongue, but found the business phone on my caller ID. I got a hold of his trainer, and asked him if I could give him advise on their sales presentations. I was wanting to let him know that it isn”t going to sell if you insult the costumer. He wouldn”t even let me say a word. I told him who I was, and he”d heard enough. I told him I couldn”t afford their vacuum cleaner, and he said, “yes, you can afford it. We pre-approved you by running your credit. You are wasting my time-if you want to live in filth, that is up to you” At that point, I went off and cussed him out, and hung up. I feel like this is a scam, and I am sooo glad we didn”t buy one of these vacuum cleaners. As for the thousand dollar shopping spree, that was a complete joke. It”s landed a spot in my trash can. What a waste of time for me and my family. I would recommend these people be turned in to the better business bureau, and if anyone were to ever get a chance to have a presentation at their home, they”d be smart to skip it. I will never let another salesman into my home. I will forever hang up on telemarketing calls after that experience. Thanks.

I received a package today with teeth that look like they came from a bubble gum machine. The veneers I ordered do not have gums attached. I would like a refund. I ordered for top and bottom. Both packages say for top. I”m very unsatisfied. These are not worth the $19.99 I paid for each piece. A full refund would be greatly appreciated. If I do not get a reply I will turn this over to the better business bureau. Sincerely Beth Vaught-Shaw PO Box 726 Cecilton, Md. 21913

I received my order of genie bra”s May14th. I am so disapointed in this producy. As stated in many complaints the bra”s are nothing like advertised. I am a DD and their was no support at all. The material is very light weight. I could go without a bra and look the same with or without the bra on. They mention about putting a pad in the bra. How can the company get away with this false advertising. Some one needs to close them down. I”am going to try and get a refund, but I didn”t even get a copy of the order in my package. Just more advertisements as to how great their bra”s are. What a rip off. A VERY DISGUESTED CUSTOMER.

I received phone call from a marketing company saying I filled out a survey and that I had a choice of 3 prizes to choose from. A 3 day 2 night stay at a hotel in Las Vegas/San Fransico…several location choices inside of thier network, a indoor smokeless grill, or $1, 000 to spend online. All I had to do to receive one of these gifts was to allow a vacuum cleaner company to ask me some questions for market research purposes, that I would not be pitched a sale. She said that they don”t even sell these vacuums to the general public, they are just looking for feedback on the machine as part of thier market research. I said to myself, if I”m not obligated to buy anything, 30 minutes is a small price to pay for hotel accomodations. So I agreed and a person was scheduled to come the next day. They required that both me and my wife be present. The gentlemen shows up. Very courteous and nice. He asked us Some questions about our shopping habits, What credit card services we prefer. The survey portion lasted about 10 minutes. He then began to show us the machine, talked about its build quality, how it is made in the US. He demonstrated how it cleans. We were very impressed by the machines ability to clean what we thought was our already clean furniture. He showed us several demonstrations but this lasted for almost 2 hours. Finally after he showed us everything, he asked us that money aside, would this be something we would be interested in purchasing. We said of course, it looks like a machine that can do its job. He then showed quoted us a price of close to $3, 000 for the machine and an air purifier, and a few payment options with added between $700 – $1, 200 in interest on top of the already high price. I did a quick googling online and found some complaints from people. Mainly complaining about the price. I told him we had no intentions of buying anything today, that we thought the visit was for our input. He started to become very pushy. Every time I told him no thanks, he would say but why? I don”t understand why you don”t want this machine that will clean your house. He was very persistant. He took another 20 minutes to pack up the mess he made in our living room and the whole time was trying to convince us. He ended up calling his HQ and made us an offer. He said we can have a demonstration model for $1, 500. That”s a huge price reduction! That made us very suspicious. How can he just cut the price by $1, 500? I continued to decline and he then said I can have a brand new machine for $1, 000.00 for 1 year no interest! A brand new machine for $1, 000! This is crazy! I told him I will sleep on it, and that if it felt right in the morning. I would give him a call back. He swore I would pay full price and that this offer is only good this moment. I never believe those things. I said, I am sure if I call you in a few days, you will give me this price. He finally gave up and left us a brochure to claim our hotel accommodations. I”ve been searching online and found a few people selling this machine for much less than $1, 000. Never make a purchase under pressure. My advice would be to sleep on it before committing to a major purchase. If it feels right a few days later, then go for it. I am glad I didn”t fall to the pressure. I hope this review helps others before they make a major financial commitment with TriStar

I too ordered the Kiyoseki iron only to receive a dirty, stained, sticky, used iron that did not even work when plugged in. Rep on phone was a turd, no apology. Had to wait for mailing label. I sent the piece of crap back and this company had the gall to keep $10 for shipping, when I was sent a used, broken product in the first place. Why should I pay a cent for being sent, and then having to return, a piece of crap iron that was pre-owned? Do you trust a company that does this to people? Go to your neighbourhood store and buy a much cheaper iron that will work just as good and one that you can at least get all your money back if you have to return it.
