I don”t have even have one good thing to say about this guy and his Business. About a month ago i purchased a 10 session pass for $200.00. He said I could use the sessions whenever i wanted and he could reimburse me if i didn”t use the sessions etc. I had some personal stuff end up happening and i didn”t get around to using any of the sessions. I contacted him stating i wanted my refund and my money back. He agreed, and after a few times cancelling on me and giving excuses to why he couldn”t meet up he still never paid me back. He kept saying every day i would get the funds and every day i asked there was yet another excuse to why he count pay me. He acts like he”s a good “christian” boy, but he”s a thief and a liar! DO NOT use Tyler as your personal trainer as you may get scammed and used like i did!

I paid him for a boot camp that was cancelled. He agreed to let me use he money towards personal training sessions. We had 3 of 5 sessions and then he kept cancelling and refused to refund me. Was only a refund of $50 but was still my money. Such a scammer. He clearly picks and chooses who he rips off. There”s numerous people on here who have had the same thing happen.

I recently moved to Canada and I hired a personal trainer named Tyler Frederick via Kijiji in Edmonton. He asked for 700$ to have unlimited sessions with him. I paid him the first half the day before the training and then I trained with him for 3 days at Terwilliger rec center and then i paid him the rest. On the first day he took my measurements and signed a contract which he said will photocopy and give it to me the next day. Ever since that day he has stopped training with me and disappeared. He is not refunding nor sending me the contract papers. Instead he sent me another paper stating that I cannot ask him refund for 30 days and have asked me to sign it. If i try to call him, he eithr leaves his phone on swtich off mode or cuts my phone. The Rec centre told me that he is currently training at Millennium at Sherwood park Edmonton and have stopped coming to the Terwilliger rec center, but is still a member at the rec center. A police investigation is currently going on and the BBB of central and northern alberta have been notified. I have also done a declaration of fraud at my embassy. As i am new to Canada, I dont know my rights and how to be safe from such people. I got stuck in such a fraud. All what i have learnt and after taking to the Edmonton police, Please make sure to get a police clearence of the trainer that you want to hire. Make sure that the person hands over to you the contract the very first day of training signed and approved and please talk to the other people training by him to get a feedback about the person. This is my experience with my first fitness coach in Canada.
