A friend of mine rented a U-Haul to move my things 10 minutes away but I paid for it. When we got the truck it was on 1/4 tank from empty. After he moved my things we put the gas back in and dropped the truck off. We put it back to where the person told us it needed to be and they charged us 70.00!!! A 30.00 service charge and 40.00 for gas that had already been replaced. This is a down right rip off and I will tell everyone else that I know to not rent from U-Haul. I’m also calling the media. You guys think that its ok to do this to people. This is not ok. I wasn’t someone in the Corporate Office to contact me regarding this matter ASAP. .
