There are so many things wrong with this rental property. First, the name is highly misleading. Aventura is considered to be one of the most successful areas in North Miami, with high prestige. Aventura Harbor Apartments is in fact, 15 minutes away from the actual Aventura area. The neighborhood is congested and unkept. For almost a week a dead dog was left near the community, decaying near the street. Parking within this apartment complex is also a giant hurdle. Parking spots are tiny, leaving absolutely no room for even the smallest car, the parking lot gets heavily congested at night, leaving residents with no place to park. The “visitor” parking lot is a joke. It’s located behind the property, is unsurveillanced, a far distance from the actual units. The buildings have long and poorly lit hallways. A one bedroom apartment comes without a washer a dryer but costs $995. My ceiling went unreparaired for six months. Pieces from the ceiling continuously fell on my furniture due to a leak. The laundry facilities are disgusting and often go without repairs. My clothes and bedding were destroyed by the washing machines. Security will lock your clothes overnight if you fail to pick up your laundry before 10 PM. This company will heckle you out of your money. Management will ignore you after you’ve signed the lease. The apartments here are overpriced and a complete rip off. I was severely depressed during my entire stay at Aventura Harbor Apartments. The name is misleading and should be changed to indicate it’s TRUE location. This should be illegal. Avoid this apartment complex by all means.
