(1) This is an ongoing problem. The letter carrier stuffs the main in very tightly and usually catches one or more outer edges in the back door of the box. At this time of the year we, unfortunately, get lots of catalogues in the mail. It is very frustrating to have to physically rip anything out of the back door. If we miss picking up mail for a day, it is stuffed in and ruins anything put in the box. We get Netflix DVD”s weekly and it is stuffed in so tightly that the DVD”s are ruined. That is just carelessness. (2) When it rains our mail gets wet. The boxes were installed in the 1980″s. They need to be replaced with a newer box that will keep rain from destroying the mail.
