On Wednesday, April 9, 2014, I contacted Cardholder Services and requested a new replacement US Bank Convenient Cash debit card. They charged my account $15.00. The Customer Service Representative stated that I will receive my new replacement debit card within 5-7 business days regular US Mail. As of Monday, April 21, 2014, I still haven’t received my replacement debit card. I am totally out of money and I have no access to withdrawing any of my money from my account. I contacted a manager at Cardholder Services to file a complaint because I have not yet received my debit card. Everytime I call the Customer Service Representative and Supervisors are very rude to me. They appear not to care about what problems I am facing as a result of not being about to access money from my account. Also, on April 9, 2014, the Customer Service Representative also failed to offer me expedited services, which according to US Bank Convenient Cash Terms & Conditions states (2 business) days to receive my debit card. On April 21, 2014, I had enough of waiting for my debit card, so I called Customer Services and requested expedited services and Cardholder Services quickly withdrew $30.00 (expedited service fee) from my account and stated that I should receive my replacement debit card within 2-3 business day (UPS). I stated that on the website is clearly states that the expedited deilvery time is (2-business days), which is what I paid for. So far I have paid a total of $45.00 to Cardholder Services and they still haven’t delivered my replacement debit card. I even called today, Thursday, April 24, 2014 to check the status and delivery information as well as requested the UPS Tracking number, and no one could provide me a tracking number. So I asked to speak with a supervisor who also stated that they do not have a tracking number, and that the card had not shipped yet, but that I should receive it within 2-3 business days by Monday. She stated that they aren’t counting Saturday, because it is not a business day. This is absolutely the worst experience of my life!!!! I just can’t believe this company is in business. Cardholder Services is a scam!!! In the meanwhile, I am completely out of cash and unable to withdraw any of my money from my account. I even went into the US Bank in Glen Ellyn, IL and tried to withdraw money directly from a bank teller, and the bank teller refused to allow me to withdraw money. Although the bank teller was able to pull up my account information, she refused to process my request citing she could not assist me without my replacement debit card. I asked for a Manager at the branch, and was also denied any assitance. I presented the proper identification and my account information, but she still they refused to allow me to withdraw any money from my active account. US Bank Convenient Cash is a product and service offered by US Bank, yet US Bank will not assist me with withdrawing any of my money. This service is a SCAM and other customers need to be made aware of this service as well as Cardholder Services. This bank card certainly doesn’t live up to it’s name. Although the name of the debit card is called US Bank “”Convenient Cash”” customers awaiting a new replacement card will not be allowed to withdraw any of their money without the new replacement card, which I have a real problem with. This services is unjust and most unfair. Because of Cardholder Services terms and conditions it places restrictions on debit cards that blocks customers 100% from accessing funds while waiting for a replacement card. Cardholder Services will not allow customers to transfer funds from their accounts either. They have fixed this service to block customers 100% access from withdrawing or accessing money and no one will assist you. .
