Thank you for your interest, but I’m not taking new clients at this time. Everyone has a problem at some point in life, and often talking to a professional who isn’t directly involved can help. Because we believe that counseling should be available to those in need, we have a low cost sliding-fee scale, which may be less than your co-pay for insurance. Every person is different and our counseling is tapered to the needs and problems of each individual. We are unique in that I also train emotional support and therapy dogs, one of which we have here in the office.I have been counseling over 20 years and have also worked as an ESE teacher, Behavior Specialist, with battered women, juvenile justice, Guardian ad Litem, the victim witness program with the survivors of 9/11 and the Pulse Night Club tragedy. My client’s ability to overcome trauma and adversity is an inspiration to me.We have a registered therapy dog named “Hero” on staff, and a therapy-dog-in-training named “Phoenix! The physical and emotional benefits of therapy dogs has been well documented – we have been particularly successful in working with children, teens, and adults in team building, and family counseling with Hero as a partner.
