We had hired this company to rent our home that we own in Bigfork Montana. Since we’ve hired them they have not payed us the proceeds from the rent collected for our property. They have used our rent money to do unecessary repairs to the house even after being asked to authorize any repairs in advance. They do the repairs themselves and charge excessive rates for any work they due. They will not return our phone calls, do not respond to E-mails or letters we’ve sent. The conrtact states that the rent for our house will be deposited by the 10th of every month, yet it’s been two months and we’ve recieved nothing. The owner told us that she was going ahead with caulking the bathtub spickets without our approvale because it’s a safety and health concearn that somehow water will go behind the spicket and craete a mold issue. This home was built in 2008 and since then has had an extensive remodel including, new paints, flooring and appliances.Still, they have paid us nothing so far and after at least 10 request that they itemize a statement of expensses for repairs done to our house they haven’t responded or gave us our rent that’s owed to us. It is the second month of rent and they have collected $4200 for our property and still we have recieved no money. They wont call us back and we are out of state, worried that we will have to tavel three states away to get an answer. This company is involved in bad business practices and they are unethcal in my opinion. Please take this advice and don’t hire this company because they won’t have your best intrest in mind. I have been worried sick that they will not pay us a dime and yet we are still making large mortgage payment and it’s costing us big money to have tenants in our house. I’m at a loss for words, trying to understand how a licensed business can get away with this?
