I was recently referred to this place from ban field pet hospital I brought my cat in when I noticed she stopped eating. The people at ban field tested her blood and her liver enzymes were off the chart and she was anemic. They said this was beyond their care and told me to take her to this place VECC. When I got there they were very nice but said she needed to have an IV and a feeding tube. The blood work that they did was standards liver check and it came back neg. they kept her till Monday cause they wanted to do an ultra sound and the tech wasn’t there on this particular weekend so I paid the price for that. After 3 days and no answers I picked her up and was handed a 2800.00 bill and still a sick cat. They said if she doesn’t get better bring her back and they will insert a feeding tube in her. I was under the impression they had done this already. So the bill was for a 3 day stay. Unreal. This place would be the last place I would bring her back to. My next door neighbor bot offered me her vet and said they are wonderful. I took my cat with all the records from this place they took her and immediately inserted a feeding tube ran numerous blood tests and got a hit for toxoplasma now why wouldn’t the other place test her for this. She has all the symptons!!! They are not experts like they claim they are just rip offs. My cat has been at the vet for 3 days and is improving by the handfuls I pick her up tomorrow and already know what my charges are. 1600.00. The other placed charged me 1000 more and did way less. Please people do not take your animals here even if you can afford it $$$$$$$ they don’t know what they are doing!!! Also when I went and picked her up from VECC they told me I owed more than the highest estimate they had given me even though I said do not exceed that amount without calling me. They told me they forgot to add a few things and that I had to wait till Monday for the ultra sound i incurred more expenses. They won’t give you your animal if you don’t pay!! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.
