After canceling the phone and having it disconnected because of high charges Virgin continued to take the money, charging me for about nearly 2 months after disconnection.trying to get them to refund it is impossible 4 phone calls and 2 emails later and no joy. I have also discovered why the phone charges were so high money i had paid for 400 free minutes a month was not buying anything. Is this theft or fraud?. They seem to be permanently trying to deprive me of money permanently and taking money for services they have not provided ibn my opinion. I asked for this to be sent to independent arbitration, the phone went dead. The small claims court beckons after I have exhausted myself and other avenues.

All was fine until I changed computer. Suddenly I could no longer get my pc guard antivirus free with broadband to work. After many hours on the phone going through everything with an adviser they just gave up!! I still have no internet security! Why the hell can”t they send someone around to fix it, so paying for half a package now. Not impressed!!

AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR SOME TIME I FEEL CHEATED THAT MY MEDIUM SPEED BROADBAND CONTRACT IS NOW NO BETTER THAN MY FIRST EVER DIAL UP SERVICE OF MANY YEARS AGO. SO SLOW IN FACT I MOSTLY GIVE UP EVEN TRYING TO ACCESS MY E-MAILS THROUGH THEIR OWN SERVER (5 MINUTES TO LOAD THE PAGE AT MY LAST ATTEMPT. I AM GOING TO CHANGE MY SERVICE PROVIDER IN THE NEW YEAR THOUGH THEY ALL LIE ABOUT THE SPEEDS THEY PROVIDE. IF GAS AND ELECTRICITY PROVIDERS USED THE SAME STANDARDS WE WOULD END UP WITH DILUTED GAS AND 50 VOLTS INSTEAD OF 240.

At the beginning of the year, I applied to have at the time NTL installed at my home, after two attempts to install, the final straw came when, after yet another day off of work, I was told that the whole of the area, belonging to the council would need to be dug up over 100 yards. to install my cable, bearing in mind that I had already been told that we were able to receive this service, quickly and easily. Therefore obviously I said this was out of the question and I cancelled the agreement, as I was in my right to do, as I had not received any service what so ever form them. After 2 weeks, I received a snotty telephone message from them advising me I had missed my installation callout, I have also received 3 bills, numerous bumph mail, and finally a debt agency are now chasing me for money I do not owe to these people. Today I have received yet another letter the same as 3 weeks ago saying we are sorry to hear you are not happy, I know these are standard letters, but I have had enough, I have not and do not want anything from these people and want an apology for their incompetence.

Be aware of Virgin Media!!! I am a Virgin Media customer since March 2008. I had problem only once with the service and after a few phone calls it had been sorted out. What it happened to us recently it is revolting. I gave notice to Virgin Media that we are moving house. The service was cut off on the 23rd February and being promised to have the service activated on 3rd March at the new address. It was not explained that the activation refers only for the phone line and to get internet activated we need to wait few more weeks. On 3 March, an Openreach engineer allegedly activated our phone line, we bought a phone, but the line never worked. After calling Virgin Media on a highly charged phone number on a daily base and not even getting any help I think Virgin Media Customer Service is not providing any service, the only goal of this department is to charge you by asking for your details every time you are put through another person or by putting you on hold. I tried for days to find out through the customer service when the service is going to be activated. No one could answer, repeatedly promised they will get back to me with useful information, but it has never happened. Until this day I do not know why the Internet is not activated. Within customer service I was talking to Steve, Stephen, Rebecca (08.03.2010, 16:45), Jennifer (09.03.2010 18:15) who promised to get a call back within 24 hours. No one bothered to call me. Each time I asked for an ID – I never got it – of the person I am talking to as after days of trying to get this sorted out it began to be suspicious, that nobody wants to help me. There was only one department Virgin Media National Support who noticed me after I have cancelled direct Debit. It was the only situation when Virgin Media noticed that I am one of their customers. In conclusion, I have not received any reply for two weeks, despite all the calls I made, I filled in and signed the Cancellation Form and post it to Virgin Media Sales Operation Support, Daleside Road, Nottingham, NG2 3GG. Fortunately I have internet on my mobile so I went online and check the web and found many similar cases like mine. Virgin Media complaint letters are circulating on the internet, I read other people’s cases and I am not happy at all I read. This is why I am writing this letter as I do not want to get bills for a service that has never been activated. As an online business owner Internet is essential to my business, I am loosing hundreds of pounds a day because I do not have internet. I do not even dare to estimate how much I am loosing day by day. With this letter I would like to irrevocably terminate the existing agreement with Virgin Media. I do not wish to use any service provided by Virgin Media. And also I’m not willing to pay a single penny.

Engineer damaged surrounding window upon installation. Have been trying since 6th September 2007, to rectify this. Have made 3 verbal complaints, plus 2 written letters. This also involved the installation and the equipment not working since this date. I have been billed for something that could not be used. I no longer want this service and have been trying for some time to get someone to visit. I am 63 years old and now my name has gone to Debt Recovery Agency, even though I was informed that my bills would be put on hold until the equipment was rectified.

Hello, for nearly five monthes I correspond with three companies, supposedly I”m the winner of the lottery Virgin Media. I filed a complaint against these cyber Crime Bureau. They found that it was true, and had deposited my winnings GTBank. Who is trying to pull out of my money, ostensibly for the generation of key transaction for the transfer of my money. Cyber ??Crime Bureau assures us that after the transfer of key money will be opened and all the winnings I will be able to transfer to any account. This is not cheating?

I don”t know where to start with this service. It is absolutely appalling. No-one that I have written to or spoken to seems to know what”s going on. The “on demand” service only works sometimes. It disappears for up to 2 weeks with no explanation. I did not receive a copy of April 2007 bill. This may not have been their fault but what I cannot get them to do is send me a copy of that bill. I want to see what I am paying for. All they did was add. Beware!

I got back from holiday on August 15th to find my land line phone dead. I notified Virgin Media on August 16th. After two technician’s visits and nearly three weeks later the line is still not working, and no one at Virgin Media can give me a date when it might be. I’m a pensioner and I’ve had to buy a pay-as-you-go mobile in case of emergencies. It’s my impression that since VM took over telewest the standards of service and ‘Customer Care’ have collapsed.

I have been a virgin customer for quite some time and decided to upgrade to a size m package with an hd box which i told was no charge. I have been charged for my telephone line in addition to my Broadband package even though the telephone line was discounted when I took out the service -as it is still discounted now. Virgin have adjusted my billing going forward but have refused to pay back the money they overcharged for previous months. They are basically saying that if I did not notice that they were overcharging me then its my fault and they can keep it! What on earth can I do about this? If they have simply made a processing error and charged me more than I agreed to when I took out the contract how do I defend myself and get this money returned? For starters, how do I prove what the charging was agreed to be?

I have experienced very poor service from Vigrin Media from the word go. When I first called to join a installation date of was given to me, on the day I waited for 4 hours and no one and when I called them they informed me that they did not have my mobile number and had the incorrect address. On then next installation date, they left the cable on the walk way and advised that I would have to place it under the walk way. They installed a faulty cable modem, I’m not able to view more than 7 TV channels and my landline which was to be working right away( as informed by the contact center) is still not working. And now they advise that a Technician will only be able to come and repair it in a weeks time. IS THIS WHAT ONE CALLS GOOD SERVICE… I DON’T THINK SO…

I have phoned vie media at least 4 times, I have been told so many excuses. I have asked to speak to the person in charge and been passed to a colleague, I know this because I was past to a man by a women, the next time I phoned the same man passed me to the first woman I spoke to. The last time I phoned a man by the name of Richard told me that I was a priority because I have a alarm system and he would send me the paperwork to register myself as a person who wood be able to get someone out within 4 hours.NEITHER HAS HAPPENED.

I have superfine 70, for the last few days using Virgin’s recommended speed checker my download speed is between 0.9 mbs and 2.4 mbs. They checked my equipment and said everything was fine. I have their superhero and a dual band n wireless adaptor that is operating at 400 mbs. When trying to contact them I get the message “all of our operators are busy”.

I phoned to set up Virgin Media for TV and internet on the 17th of September 2013. I was told that technicians would only be able to come out to install everything on the 5th of October. I guess had no choice but to wait the 3 weeks (although, this in itself is unacceptable). On the day before, I was called by an agent confirming that someone would come out on the 5th. On the date of installation no body came and after phoning through, I was told that the installation date had been rescheduled to the 18th of October. No body I spoke to seemed to be damned about the situation or could explain to me why the installation had been rescheduled. I was passed from pillar to pole and no one took responsibility for this. Each person would claim that it was not their responsibility and there was nothing that could be done. I am absolutely dumb struck by the level of service I have received from Virgin. I was told by a friend of mine that this is standard with Virgin. I seriously suggest using another service provider!

I recently phoned the free phone number in order to find out why virgin had been overcharging me for 4 months when I eventually got an adviser they explained there had been a mistake and he would refund the charges in my next bill, he then advised me that I should have the large tv bundle as they no longer do the medium one, we discussed possible changes but I never agreed to anything. 2 days later I get a letter from Virgin thanking me for taking up a new 12m contract (fuming), I phoned to cancel all services and was left on a machine for 39 minutes, I then hung up but will be cancel via letter!

I started off with NTL I had no problems with. I was with NTL for over 4 years. When it went over to virgin media the problems started. Virgin media repeats everything more then once and I”m paying for the same old programs. I seem to be paying a lot me then i should. I ring up and get through to people that don”t understand what I”m talking about. I can be on the phone for over an hour and the problem is still unresolved. I haven”t got a direct debit on my account because i don”t trust what they are going to take out every month they charge me extra because of this. I”m fed up with this so I”m leaving them. I told virgin this and they said nothing and hung up on me. Has any of this happened to you?
