WATCH OUT! ROBBERY AT PARKING LOT OF WESTFIELD CENTURY CITY MALL! PLEASE READ! This is a professional job and IT’S BEEN HAPPENING EVERYDAY! “”LAPD”” SAID THAT THERE IS ABOUT 10 ROBBERIES EVERYDAY! On 4/26/2014 at 15:01pm my 3 tourist friends parked their van full of luggage (suitcases and bags, squished all the way to the roof). They were on their way to the airport and they decided to meet me at the food court. They locked the van for sure and we have proof of this. When we came back to unlock it, the alarm went off. 30 minutes later, we went downstairs (B34 at the back) to get the cars. We opened the van and we found nothing!! The van was profaned! We were shocked! First of all, We called the police and they told us that they would come shortly. We called the security mall immediately and one security man came (Hector). We explained the situation and He made us fill a report. Apparently, There were more than one security company “”taking care”” of the parking lot. Two more security people (Carlos & Mario: Director of Security Professional Security Consultants) came over and started asking us some questions. Anyways. They didn’t do anything. We demanded to see the security cameras to see who and in what moment this happened! But they did not let us do this. Like nobody care about their customers. I am wondering what would it happen if there is murder or sexual harrasement while there is no security cameras or guards checking the parking lot?!? They are getting payed for doing nothing! HORRIBLE SERVICE! How come we came back to our car and in less than 30 minutes somebody “”unlocked”” the car, took everything out and then “”locked”” the car again?!?! Without damaging and leaving everything intact. How is it possible that the security of the mall didn’t do or see anything about this. WHERE WERE THEY? I had to go all the way to the second floor to find ONE security person!! NOBODY IS WATCHING THE MALL! BE CAREFUL! They have only 10 cameras at the entrance/exit?! The police called the mall to say that they were not coming at the end. They probably had other important things to take care of than a robbery of more than $20,000 usd. We are taking this very seriously. The mall is not being responsible for our belongings inside the car but they should be able to drive or even walk around the parking lot, checking the cars, the customers, that everything is fine. Nobody knows what is going on down there. NOBODY CARES EITHER! We are very dissatisfied with the response from everyone. We are taking this to an investigation and we already involved the LAW on this. I would NEVER except something like this would happen here, specially in this area.
