Wet Spot Plumbing is not reliable at all as I found to my utter shock and disappointment. I am not fond of writing negative reviews, but the company’s inaction to fix the issues forced me to share my experiences. My home warranty company arranged for the plumbing repairs of my home to be done by Wet Spot Plumbing. One of the technicians from the office came to diagnose and assess whether a toilet flange needed to be replaced. The technician created a wrong impression at the very first sight. The truck inspection stickers have expired long ago and you can see steel belts through the tires. Moreover, he did not have the right equipment. I had made arrangements for plumbing access under the floor, but the technician punctured a hole through the ceiling of my neighbour who lives below. Although he profusely apologised at first and promised to call his company to fix the hole, he did not take any measures. Things got even weirder when he did not put any caulk around the bottom of the flange when he replaced it. It was very strange for a plumbing company. However, seeing him flustered about the damage cause, I did not press the issue further and he promised that the company would call me and do the other repairs soon.
I didn’t hear from anyone so I started calling them up frequently with no avail. I even left voice messages conveying my problem. After getting no response for two full weeks, I called up my home warranty company and demanded that they set up a conference call with the tech from Wet Spot Plumbing so that damages could be discussed. The technician confessed to the damage but repeatedly cited water spots on my neighbour’s ceiling as the main cause. The company did not want to get involved citing vendor’s insurance’s responsibility for the damage.
