I absolutely hate writing bad reviews. It is the last thing that I want to do but unfortunately it is a necessary evil. Found a pistol that I wanted to purchase for my wife. The gun was listed on Gun Broker and I used the by it now feature. I purchased and paid for the pistol immediately. That was on the 25th of November at 8:42am. I immediately wrote and email to Yeti Firearms and sent them my FFL and told them that this was a Christmas present for my wife and if there was an issue getting it by Christmas to please let me know and I would make other arrangements. Yeti Firearms was closed as per their website for the Thanksgiving holiday so I didn’t expect them to respond till Monday. I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email from Brandon at 6:58pm that afternoon. Email stated: ————————————————————- Thank you for the order and the FFL. The lead time on the coating is about 7-10 business days currently so this will arrive in plenty of time for a Christmas gift. Thank you Brandon ————————————————————- I did not hear anything for about two weeks. So on the 8th of December at 11:21pm I sent them a follow-up email. Email stated: ————————————————————- Hey buddy just checking in and making sure we are still on track. Thanks. ————————————————————- The next night (December 9) I received a reply at 9:43pm. Email stated: ————————————————————- Your item is just waiting on reassembly. Should be ready to ship early next week, you should see it by end of next week. Thank you Brandon ————————————————————- Again, I waited anxiously for an update to the order details on Gun Broker (just like ebay when you sell an item you are supposed to mark it as shipped and upload the tracking). Saturday – Nothing. Sunday – Nothing. Monday – Nothing. Tuesday – Nothing. So Wednesday at 12:51pm I sent another inquiry. Email stated: ————————————————————- Brandon, Hey buddy. Just checking in here. Hoping that this gun shipped Monday or Tuesday as stated. If not I am going to need to cancel the order. I just called my FFL and they are closing the 23rd – 27th for the holiday. With the priority mail transit time and the Florida mandatory cool down period I don’t think I am going to be able to put my hands on it prior to the holiday as was the goal. Let me know and if not, no harm, no foul. I have a local place that I can buy the gun today or tomorrow and get it coated after the holiday for her. This is one of her main gifts so I can’t really be without it. ————————————————————- I received a reply that night at 11:24pm. Email stated: ————————————————————- The pistol should be at your dealer Friday. When I’m back in the shop tomorrow I can confirm but it looks like the guys got it shipped out already. Thank you Brandon ————————————————————- The following morning (December 15) at 10:38am I replied. Email stated: ————————————————————- If it arrives tomorrow then that is fine. I can get in there and do the paper work and the cool down period before they close. Thanks. ————————————————————- This is where the transaction started going south. I received this reply shortly after my email was sent. ————————————————————- Thank you for contacting Yeti Firearms. Due to the increase in traffic please allow 24-48 hours for you emails to be returned. Sending multiple emails will not speed up your request. ————————————————————- At 5:16 pm on December 15th I asked again: ————————————————————- Was this successfully confirmed? I am still showing not shipped on Gunbroker. ————————————————————- No reply. I called them today the 16th. Brandon picked up and I asked him why he was ignoring my emails and ask him what the status of the order is. He stated that he shipped the order on the 14th. I asked him for the tracking number and the tracking number he gave me was shipped out on the 15th with delivery due on the 19th of December. Not the 16th that we agreed on. Told me he would issue me a refund of I returned the gun. All in all just really poor customer service. They have great ratings on Gun Broker so hopefully this is just a random occurrence but boy what a really bad experience. Now I have to pay to return the gun and get a refund netting me a loss. Not mad at all just wish that he would have told me the truth right away and been honest.
